So far this is my favorite Joe Bonamassa song ....the guy can play ....but nothing hit my heart till this one ....and Vince Gill can sure pick a geetar as well !!!!
In this particular number, I'm amazed at the way Vince and Joe conjure up all those different styles of singing and playing. In the vocals, I can hear very distinct echos of Clapton, Gregg Allman and even B.B. King and the guitar is also pure Clapton/B.B.King style - and yet it's a great new number in its own right. Great piano and rhythm section too. Such creativity and range of expression - they must have had loads of fun recording it. Simply magical!
I pooped a little when I saw "Joe Bonamassa ft. Vince Gill." This is great. Two of my favorite players in the world.
