This is later than 52. The 55 or 56 Buick convertible wouldn't be there otherwise

This must be another 1955 clip, because that is a 1955 Olds pace car. So not 1952. Great videos that you have uploaded though. Many thanks

My Dad, Sonny McDaniel raced there for many years. Happy to say still living!

My grandfather was Ivan Frizzell the owner of Frizzell Pontiac  :)

Thank you so much for the posts. My late uncle Bill Blumrick was one of the racers at Playland. He also drove the #7 car at Joseph P. Meyer, the black & white "Whale Tail" sponsored by "Whale of a Deal" Frizzell Pontiac. He was a multi-time track champ at Playland, Arrowhead, and Meyer. I thought I saw A.J. Foyt's yellow #2 car!
