  • One of my favourite films, I used to watch it all the time with my grandma when I was younger, lovely memories<3

  • suddenly it happened to me - i won the jackpot on the euro millions :)

  • The music is so beautiful :') It makes you feel all warm and cosy inside! :P You get the same effect with Mary Poppins (which, of course, was by the Sherman Brothers aswell) :) x

  • I'm 15 and this is one of my favourite movies of all time! Any time it is on the TV I watch it. I go around school singing the songs-(my friends have no idea what i'm singing, so funny)! I just love it so much, best version ever!!!!! :D

  • Does anyone know where I can download this

  • Im 26 and adore this film, my great Auntie use to put this on for me when l was very younge and l have loved it ever since...its by far the best verson of Cinderella ever!!! when ever lm not feeling well l watch this and it cheers me up right away! x

  • Oh my gosh! she's going to Hogwarts! Jealous!

  • im 35 and i absolutely adore this movie even more now i think when i need a bit of a fairytale in my adult years. thanks so much.

  • I used to watch this with my sister lol

  • me too! ( not with your sister though...my sister lol)

  • i luv this movie!♥

  • I've just managed to get a copy on ebay!! It's the the mail newpaper copy!, there are other sellers , selling this dvd, cost me 0.99p!, I'm so happy!, every young girls dream! - TrueLove!

  • This has been my favourite movie since I saw it when I was eight years old (shamefully, I turned 34 yesterday :) Richard Chamberlain is very handsome, Gemma Craven is so beautiful and Annette Crosbie is so different from her character in 'One Foot In The Grave' she is the perfect fairy godmother. They don't make films like this anymore and the words to the songs are still in my mind to this day. Long may The Slipper and The Rose reign in our hearts :)

  • BRAVO! BRAVO!

  • Me too. The song 'once I was loved' is very real to me. I'm also 34! lol

  • Oh, and for those of you looking for the DVD, it IS/was available in the UK. Apart from the Daily Mail copy, I found one in a 3-DVD box set with Legends of the Fall and First Knight from Morrisons. Pretty sure it's the extended version as well, as it has Find a Mate.

    Good luck!

  • Thanks for putting the film up in the first place, and then the songs...you were a lifesaver when I didn't have my DVD! But you might want to fix the info...I'm sure you didn't mean to write "Sung by Prince Edward and the Duke of Montague"!

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks as I love this movie to bits. Annette Crosbie is apparently a distant cousin on my mother's side, but I've never got into any balls as a result...yet :-)

  • I live in the States and I can't find this movie, even though it was recently rereleased! I wouldn't want the rerelease anyway though, as I seem to remember that it is edited or something, and the first release was better. Man, I wish I'd bought the first release...

  • play more! I love this film x

  • i love this movie it is my favourite cinderella story it is a shame that you can only buy it in the states.

  • Which is ironic considering the cast is all British.

  • oh. that's wierd. i have it on dvd, and i live in the uk and it is our region. wierd.

  • Hi hubblybubbly. Please could you share the ID number of the DVD? I'm determined to get my hands on one, whatever it takes. Many thanks, Linda.

  • i got it from the daily mail, and it doesn't have an id number. i would try ebay, it should have some there. or amazon.

  • I adore this film, and saw it many times on its first cinema release in the UK, and this clip is from the beautiful restored widescreen print from the US dvd, wish they release it in england
