  • this is why I support hunting. I think its better for an animal to have a quick death in its natural environment rather then have to suffer like that.

  • I am so glad I've had three days of vegetarian meals. And tasty they were.

  • What to eat and what not to eat : Leviticus chapter 11 .

  • What is the name of the song?

  • It's called "Exit Music," from their album, OK Computer.

  • There are animals more smarter than humans.

    We can learn off them.

I know we have to kill to survive, this is why God put animals on the earth, for us to eat and also for companions.

We pray before we start to eat our food, and give thanks to the lord and to respect that an animal has been sacrificed so we can live. This is where respect comes in, not doing what these cruel people are doing. Yes they are being slaughtered, but not like the way they are. They have feelings too!

  • Read Genesis 1:29-God did NOT originally plan to put animals on earth for you to eat.

If He wanted you to eat animals: He would have given you canines for ripping flesh, like tigers & lions, not teeth for chewing like those given to other plant-eating species; He would have given you claws to catch animals, not fingers & hands more suited for gathering; He would have given you an acidic digestive system for processing of animal proteins and quick elimination, not one like other plant eaters.

  • @rawvegan1 I'm not sure we don't have canines? If I'm not mistaking, our ancestors have had canines, but because we learned to cook, there were no need of ripping flesh anymore, so our canines shrunk.

But anyway, eating meat that was treated cruelly is ethically wrong. Animals (and ourselves included) eat meat for survival reasons. The reason why I think eating (traditionally raised/slaughtered) meat from time to time is fine is because it's natural: Chickens will eat meat if they need to too.

  • Human kind, how can you do that?

  • Feeding on living things is the fate of human as living things. & yes, they treat animals badly... but how is this related to changing what we eat?

actually plants are living things as well. i wonder how vegetarians claim they are peaceful... doesn't that the same as eating animals? just that humans are animal so we put empathy to animal but not plant... we are killing plants as well!!

i think the intention of making the video is good, but the point doesn't make sense unless you don't eat.

  • The change the video challenges you to make is to eat a "least harm" diet. Even if science, reason and a gut check don't convince you that the harm done by eating plants is orders of magnitude less than the harm done by eating higher animals, consider this: when you eat animals, you eat all the plants *they* killed and ate. Eating high on the food chain (animal foods) amplifies the number of lives taken.

  • Nicely put. BB to you.

  • @homersimpsonIV wow you are simply a fucking moron ,,,,

  • are you stupid? yes plants are living but they don't have nervous systems and can't feel pain and suffering? get a grip.

  • Do some investigation re plants attached to lie detector machines.

  • Eating animals is not the same thing as eating plants, given that plants don't have central nervous systems and don't scream in pain. The problem with eating animals is the pain they're caused. If we can give them better lives and a humane slaughter, that would be a great thing. Vegetarians boycott the system because it isn't humane.

  • @jupitertszchun plants have feeling ????? wut planet are u from ,,,

  • @jupitertszchun Eating animals is not the same thing as eating plants, given that plants don't have central nervous systems .....anyways try harder

  • This fact-based video is a very accurate portrayal of what goes on in animal agri-business every day and people need to know what they are "buying" into. These scenes are not rare individual cases or anomalies. While it may be hard to watch the 4 minute video, the animals live and die this way 24/7. There are no "happy" endings here.

  • Truly moving. I hope this video inspires others to move towards a more ethical way of living - including no longer eating these animals.

I provided some of the footage for this video and can unfortunately attest to the fact that contrary to what we WANT to believe, the cruelties inflicted on these animals are daily and routine. They are not the exception...even here in Canada.
