Wow...this is beautiful. My friend had a beautiful little girl with trisomy 18, her name was Alandra, yesterday she passed away...she only lived one day! Everyone was so happy, they took pictures of her and she seemed fine but now she will not have to suffer anymore and her parents have the hope to reunite with her again in paradise. Awe, he had such a precious smile. I love seeing these videos, although they make me cry because of the loss, but I think I love them because you see parents who are so willing to choose life, knowing that that child may not be healthy. Great job. I know it's not easy.

Thank you for sharing your memories with all of us. I have lost my son to trisomy 18 10 years ago. He died during birth. As days and years have passed it has become easier to deal with the pain of loosing a child, however I thank you because I never had memories of him and seeing your son has given me some closer. Wow...you are blessed! My daughter was born May 08 with partial trisomy 18. She has only two 18th chromozones, but one has the addition of the long arm. She has a cleft palate, which prompted the drs to test her genetics. She is now 14 months old and started to crawl a few weeks ago. Besides the cleft, she has no other physical evidence of the 18q. She's a beautiful girl who we are blessed to raise! God bless you!

My little baby Ian was born with Trisomy 18 on April 7, 2005.....he was born without an aorta in his heart, cysts on both sides of his brain, an enlarged valve in heart, hole in heart and club feet........every doctor said that he would live no more then 2 hrs.......he lived 29 hrs.......I almost terminated my pregnancy....I am sooooo glad that I didnt....I couldnt imagine not being able to hold him in my arms even for just a few hours........thank you for sharing.....Kim Paducah Ky

At 17 weeks pregnant I was told my son would most likely have Trisomy 18. An amnio proved them wrong, but I knew no matter what...that baby would be born into the world. You wont understand now why this has happened to you. God chose him for you for a reason and when you meet him again in heaven you will truly understand.
