  • Hä ?????

  • Can someone tell me wth is that funny blueish ship in the beginning?

And why that cheap ol Cylon Starbase thing or whatever it's called not fighting back? I mean, it just feel like 8 soldiers wasting over 500 clips, shooting at cheap plastic frisbee...

  • @SkullCapper I think the blue ship is a victory destroyer hit by an ion weapon. Not sure though.

  • @SkullCapper

I'm pretty sure you mean the Mon Calamari Cruiser with this blueish like painting on the hull. And the Cylon Basestar withstands the SW-ships so long cause it's a from a mod (BSG-Mod) and that Basestar was very unbalanced in game. It did shoot but there were so many SW-ships that the weapons have been taken out quickly. All what's been left was the hull integrety and it was far to much of it. If you noticed the Tie-Squadron at 3:04, they didn't even care to attack ;)

  • not really sure why the baseship isnt really fighting back, just wait until a second cylon war baseship turns up :3

  • how do you get the cam to stay still like that

  • @Bigbob329

There is no way that is possible. if turbolasers were that powereful, then no battle would last more than two seconds!

  • @McCbobbish It IS possible. Star Wars shields are equally powerful and therefore match the powers of the weapons and balance them out etc. The Solar Ionization reactor of an Imperial Star Destroyer is as powerful as a star itself! One of these ships can completely destroy the surface of the earth in less than an hour. It's possible, they're 30k years in the future, don't be close minded. Star Wars ships would make very short work of Trek, Battlestar, Babylon V, EVE and Halo ships etc.

  • @tarkinfish Umm, star wars takes plan "a long time ago in a galaxy far far away", not 30k years in the future. And Galactica, well depending on the version, one takes place in the 60s-80s, while the stupid one takes place thousands on years ago, possible before star wars. Some of the Babylon 5 ships are powerfull. Whitestars, Vorlons, The Shadows and the huge thing that can pulverize almost anything with it's species 8472 type planet killer. So who knows.

  • @Bigbob329 you were 100% right. the empire forces are even not only star destroyers and TIEs but dozens of other ship classes like fregates cruisers and so on. all together vs all cylon ships: empire would win.

dont wonder about this terrible english im german.

  • @freeway996 have you seen the pounding a Basestar can take? It would also be firing a whole hell of a lot more missiles, using railguns, and launching Cylon Raiders like there was not tommorow. A light Cylon task force would be about 12 Basestars, making it a venerable powerhouse compaired to that fleet.

  • @cjzgatefan the empire just have to sent starkiller and your pretty basestars will look like love roses after his destruction ;)

  • @freeway996 One guy, against an entire army? Not to mention that every time they die, they learn from it, getting smarter and smarter, and eventually just making them able to be immune to anything your puny Sith can offer.

  • @cjzgatefan immune against the force? impossible

  • @freeway996 The force is a basc energy manibulation tactic. You get a Centurion that has inertial dampeners to increase dencity, you will be immune to being throw. If you have some sort of dump capacitors, force lightning will do minimum damage. As for a lightsaber, cortosis, an extremly dence metal can stop a lightsaber for a short period, so if you were to have nutronium, one of the dencest metals possible, you would negate that advantage as well. Not to mention the numerical advantage as well

  • @cjzgatefan from your second sentence i got only every second word (i am german) but i still think its impossible to beeing protected against a sith who breaks your neck or sth like that with the force. imagine the force power of darth revan for example, he was able to move PLANETS with the force!! and also sith (or jedi of course too) have fuch faster reaction than normal peole so they could even break your nutronium with the lightsaber faster than you can look to it.

  • @Bigbob329 How the hell do u get to terrawatt info? wiki?

  • @arthasmenithl Star Wars: Complete Cross Sections for one.

  • @Bigbob329 Nah, you underestimate the Cylons, they are machines, they would simply retreat and then return with better tech. They could also hack the star destroyers and turn them against their own. I love star wars and BSG, I think the Cylons could beat the Empire, but I think the Jedi would be the Cylons. Darth Vader would also be able to beat the Cylons. But the Empire alone I don't think they could. But this is all speculation, we will never know :)

  • @Bigbob329 Unlikely, the Cylons have a never ending supply of Basestars and Raiders, and if you watch star wars you will see a few simple rebel fighters manage to destroy the Death Star.

  • dude, that thing would have been dead within 5sec when those stardestroyers opened fire!

  • @starflame34 Wrong, the Cylons are very advanced, their ships can take nuclear hits and still maintain themselves. In a 1 on 1 the Cylons would win easy.

  • @TheLahness Star Wars doesn't use nukes! And the Empire has the fricken death star! Let's what good nukes are against THAT!

  • @starflame34 Yea, but if their ships can withstand a nuke then they can withstand a laser. And the Deathstar takes forever to position itself lol, and with the Basestars scattered around and not in 1 big bunch, all the Deathstar can do is destroy one, and they will spin up their FTL drives and jump away before it manages to fire at them. And Luke managed to destroy the Deathstar using only a fighter and a bomb. The Cylons are machines with deadly accuracy, I'm sure they could manage the same. :)

  • @TheLahness Very good point, also, the Deathstar is very slow, with little to no FTL, while a handful of Basestars could easlly destroy it even with the thousands of fighters. At this isn't with the firepower of the 2003 reimagining of BSG. Heck, with that, one or two MIRVs would end the battle quickly.

  • @starflame34 The Mandolorians do, but they use the nuclear missiles for orbital bombardment.

  • @starflame34 The basestars can withstand repeated railgun hits that have significantly greater energy behind them, not counting the EM flash that would follow firing.

  • NIce. I have the game Star Wars Empire at War but have not played it yet. Does it actually have Battlestar Galactica in the game? Just wondering.

  • @whitebluffman No, he is using a mod. You can check out a lot of mods if you google them. But i recommend playing the game before you mod it so you can get used to it. Its a lot of fun! Modding it just adds more fun!
