I love how most of the comments here are ridiculing the members of the panel and lamenting poor Dali's being subjected to them...I'm fairly certain Senor Dali knew exactly what he was getting himself into. Still, it's good to see that the great art critics of the world still have enough time to mock a 50-year-old TV show...on Youtube...
A great interpretation, I think Dali does well with those juvenile shit he is confronted with. But if he explained his work, he'd not be Dali. No comment.
@Simpson654 ~ also too, salvidor's english is not so good, so to nuance these trivial copies of his work with their convoluted explanations would be extremely hard to express. "no comment" is the only appropriate answer to this nonsense.
Interesting, but not surprising, his "no comment" could be seen as a passive reinforcement that the meaning of any particular piece of art is up to individual interpretation. He handled it quite brilliantly, I think.
No at all. dali loves the cameras, he liked very much be in front of a camara. And I don`t think he thougth that he was in a stupid programm with stupid people, on the contrary I think he is deligthed. As many artist, Dali was generous with others who din't know anthing about art. Many times people think that all the artits are inflexible intellectuals.
this is just insulting to such a genious, do they have no imagingation, this is just symblism, not surrealism, wheres the abstraction nevermind the talent!
dali was a master and a genius they are insulting him, no comment is the best answer for people ho doesn't understand what is under the painting of Dalì
What is this about? I mean he is a MASTER and all those people are moroons... stupid public... he is so right on saying no comments... i totally agree..
Trite? Oh, really? And how many deep and philosophical TV shows do you know, cheesey?
Actually I thought this was very entertaining. Just because somebody is very good at something doesn't mean he should look down at everyone else. Humility and a sense of humor has never done anyone harm.
Comment posters here are grossly over exaggerating.

02:20 "The Last Supper" was a painting also made by Da Vinci.
The name of the painting he meant was "The Sacrament of the Last Supper".
Terrible mistake, really.

I wonder if he chewed out his rep for subjecting him to this? Or if he submitted to it out of curiosity and a chance for more public exposure?

"Oh poor Dali, these people are morons" , as if they had somehow ambushed him with this, and it wasn't all rehearsed earlier.

he said that if u wanna be a genius , u gotta act like one and you'll be a genius. He acted like a mad genius and he is one of them now.

Dali looks stiffer than usual in this one!
Probably because he can't talk about himself and these guys are morons.
But Dali was a magnificent show man and he was a pretty good sport.
Awesome at the end with his abstraction.
