  • i like your way of thinking..this means alot too me...thanks Bud!!

  • thank you brother :)

  • One thing I would add, and it's crucial...NEVER COMPROMISE THEOLOGY. Not for a rhyme or a theme or anything else. The lyrics have to align with Scripture and not the other way around.

  • Amem. I myself am a songwriter too and these are the points I normally do.

  • You can tell your a christian, your face is glowing...that's generally a hint...haha

Wow you wrote one song or chorus a day, that would be challenging. I've wanted to songwrite since i was 14, it's something that i felt God wanted me to do and i'm now 26 so i've worked hard and learnt so much over the years. It took alot of years to get to make a descent song...lol generally i seem to write songs at 12 midnight..lol for some reason, i guess that's when my mind doesn't focus on anything else. :-)

  • wow...when he said that we are LITERALLY putting words in peoples mouths as to what they're going to say to God! Major responsibility! Thanks for sharing!

  • Tip number 34: DO NOT say "Fuck" or GODDAMN"

  • I found this really helpful, thanks :)

    God Bless

  • thnx for the tips Jeff may i add tht praying also helps alot.. :)

  • the last tip is the most important tip...be blessed:) and thanks

  • "bless the lord" is powerful to me for a simple reason: it is exhorting our spirit, urging ourselves to praise the lord. king david did it regardless of how he was feeling, and he spoke to his spirit and commanded it to exalt the lord.

  • Great tips man.... really helped!
