dude i just watched the directors cut and I laughed so hard it was fuckin stupid. its not even the same fuckin movie. I never new this version existed and Im so dissapointed I even had to watch it (didnt no I was watchin the directors cut on blu-ray). This version is so shitty it ruins the movie completely. WOW!!!

And even Marvin wasn't as tough as Parker, the character in in the original novels

He's without question one of the greatest action film actors ever.

Observation: Mel has a serious thing for his characters getting the crap beaten out of them/tortured. (Therapy can help.)
