  • Great tune by a great band. Never get tired of listening to this album. RIP Rhino.

  • IF THIS WAS A LUNCHBOX AND THE RIFFS WERE FOOD THIS WOULD BE LIKE SIX THANKSGIVING DINNERS

  • this is really cool, mild and easily listening man awsome.

  • Check out Rhinos Posse on the web

  • One of the all time great rock LP's!!!! Rod Evans is 64 today 01-19-11Wed

  • Gods I had let this slip my mind over the years. I was sure I had the vinyl from way back and I went for a search and there it was in my boxed record collection. Just about the greatest rock album ever..... and that is that!

  • This song is godly its so hard. Evans vocals tied to the music melts your mind.

  • Thanks for posting!! They owned the Bay area back in the day. Never got big FM play.

I lived in Vt in the 70's & a friend came in from San Fransisco toting this album and

Montriex's latest. When I heard this I just sat down and said holy shit.

    That about covered it.

  • @PlymouthVT Still being played in the SF bay area on classic rock radio. Sadly, Rhino passed away earlier this month. Great band, Great album! mtzimm Hayward, CA

  • @mtzimm I already miss Rhino Larry Reinhardt... great guitarist, see(hear) "New Day" by Iron Butterfly _qFv3EL6vdI

  • why does it feel like every band i love decided to break up after only two or three albums? grr i wish the general public understood good music better, than these bands would have more of a reason to actually stay together!

  • Another great one. Thanks so much for posting. Such a phenomenal group. Wish they were still playing.

  • Not only does this blow doors off of Deep Purple, it is the best hard rock album of the decade. This one has to be the pinnacle of the genre. One of the essentials. Rod's voice is God-lie, and so it the guitar solo. I motion a second, it is the greatest solo ever.

  • move to instill rhino's solo here - starting at 2:00 lasting til 3:00 or so - into rock's ''all time great rock solos' club by proclaimation

    do i hear a second? a third? a tenth? a thousandth?

    yes? yes yes! YES!

done then it is hereby stated that ' the great captain beyond guitarist rhino is instilled among the pantheon of r&r guitar gods for his insanely great solo 'frozen over' solo '

so it is written so it is done!

  • This album beats everything Deep Purple ever did. :)

  • Rod's vocals matured nicely after Deep Purple, love to know what would have come if he had stayed with them! [ although we know what came for them after him !!!] Will

  • :o)

  • Another gem. Nice find sabbathman.

  • They were like a sped up Black Sabbath and could have been just as popular if they

would have toured enough. This band had the power and volume to do it.

  • hearing these guys for first time and they ROCK! I also dig Budgie and someone told me to check out these dudes. awesome, straight-forward, balls-to-the-walls R&R. Too bad I was only like 6 when this band debuted. Would've loved to see them live!

  • @starchem1 SO many bands out there that thanks to you tube I have only discovered in the last 10 years or so. November from Sweden Sounds like sabbath a bit Parish Hall, Chicken Shack, Sir Lord Balitmore, Yesterdays Children, Blues Creation, Black Feather, Bang! Etc...just keep following the links.

  • GREAT BAND WITH ROD'S VOICE

  • Phenemenal CD. I think this is my favorite. Although they are all good. Why did they have to split up. Man, I'd love to see these guys in person.

  • I want it need it bleed it.

  • riviting rush! a real teeth clentcher!
