Autism is caused by random mutations. That these people's children had an adverse reaction to the vaccine is sad. But what kind of evidence do they have to support their claims? They haven't even established a correlation, much less causation. It's much more likely that one or both of them has had some environmental factor alter the chromosomes in their gametes (sperm and eggs.)

You can read the whole story on how this scare started, but basically, the paper that started it all was a fraud and was retracted by the journal it was published in and its co-authors. Autism is a genetic mutation. In rats, we can induce Autism by exposing them to valproic acid (found in antidepressants) during gestation (Schneider,Przewlocki, 2005)
It's difficult to "cure" genetic mutations, and because of moral issues (we obviously can't try to give autism to human children) we can't conclusively even say what causes Autism in humans. But we do know that there is a common genetic abnormality in the CNTNAP2 gene.

You need to publish a paper because it's the end all of the research, but because it gives another person somewhere else, the opportunity to do the experiment. When that person gets published, someone else does the experiment, and so on. Its the retesting process of the scientific method, and it IS NEEDED.

It was supposedly testing caffeine's effect on adrenal function. It composed of a sample size of 17 (too small to be useful). He tested blood pressure, specific gravity, pH, and surface tension of single samples of the urine. One urine sample testing those parameters will not give you enough information on adrenal function. He then claims caffeine drinkers suffer from "adrenal exhaustion".

Mercury is a toxin. This is well established. The merc in vaccines was supposed to be below the threshold dose to cause a neurological lesion. Histology from autistic patients tells us that it is likely a developmental disorder that (in the cases we've seen) most likely began before the child was born. Based on the slides, we don't see what would appear to be an "acute" tox. Thimerosal would stay in the brain a shorter amount of time than traditional mercury, but stay longer in liver/kidneys.

Hello. I'm not saying that you're wrong, but you have a chicken and egg situation here. Autism is associated with GI problems. This is nothing new to us, so showing us an autistic child with GI issues is like showing me a camry and saying toyota. Just because the vaccine is "present in his bowels" doesn't mean the vaccine necessarily caused anything. The vaccine may be there, as you indicate, because the GI problem pre-existed. Fluoride, at higher doses, it a toxin. It's in our city water so reduce our need for dental care, and it has worked. Barium doesn't bioaccumulate, unlike mercury. I think the factors for "dumbing down" are likely societal and the result of the change in the style of American education and culture.
The well know poison you speak of is not sodium fluoride but sodium fluoroacetate (big difference). Sodium fluoroacetate inhibits the Krebs cycle (i.e. aerobic respiration) and is found in some but not all rat poisons (1080). Sodium fluoride can cause skeletal fluorosis (which makes bones brittle and joints painful) at high concentrations. The concentrations found in the water supply are nowhere near high enough to cause skeletal fluorosis.

The first analysis showed that children exposed to the most thimerosal by one month of age had extremely high relative risks for a number of outcomes, compared with children who got little or no mercury:

A FORMER top US official has admitted researchers were told not to look for links between autistic children and vaccine jabs.
Doctor Bernadine Healy, the ex- head of the US National Institute of Health, said the Government there had not sought out children who might be susceptible to vaccine damage.
Research has shown that up to 38 per cent of autistic kids have a DNA defect which can be triggered by jabs, compared with 0.2pc in the general population.
Dr Healy, who worked for the American equivalent of the British Medical Research Council, dismissed claims by public health officials that there was enough evidence to prove these jabs do not cause autism.
Paul Shattock, of the University of Sunderland Autism Research Unit, said: "Mrs Healy was a major player in US Government healthcare. It is the first time such an eminent medic has come out with such damning comments.
"She states healthcare officials were told not to look for subsets in case they found a causal link between vaccines and autism. This is outrageous.
"I'd like to see the reference to the study mentioning this DNA defect."

Maybe not in your child, but I'm very confident that it caused autism in mine. She was a very typical child until after her immunizations at about 13 months. After that, she lost all of her language, her ability to interact with us and wouldn't respond to her name anymore. This went on until she was almost five. She is now 10.

Autism is caused by random mutations. That these people's children had an adverse reaction to the vaccine is sad. But what kind of evidence do they have to support their claims? They haven't even established a correlation, much less causation. It's much more likely that one or both of them has had some environmental factor alter the chromosomes in their gametes (sperm and eggs.)
Sorry people, it's pretty much impossible to cause autism via environmental factors like vaccines.

The truth is that toxic substances are needed to make vaccines. Vaccines consist of several toxic substances that are necessary to: a) prevent the vaccines from becoming infected, or; b) assist in the performance of the vaccine. Chief among these substances are mercury, formaldehyde and aluminum.
I believe you cant give kids back to back vaccines and that is the problem.

Except for the fact that no study has ever found a correlation between vaccinations and autism (and lots have been conducted). You can read the whole story on how this scare started, but basically, the paper that started it all was a fraud and was retracted by the journal it was published in and its co-authors. Repeated experiments show the initial paper was wrong also.

I read in the paper today that China is going to execute two men and jail a woman for life for having sold melamine-tainted milk products which killed at least 6 babies and made some 300,000 babies ill.
Vaccines cause many more instances of death and llness, yet those responsible are never held accountable.
I think there is a strong case for introducing the Chinese justice system in the West, as it might act as a bit of a deterrent for the criminals behind the vaccination scam.

What IS proof is that upon review of his study, we've discovered that he lied. Since the 90s, millions have been poured into re-researching these baseless claims.

Autism is a genetic mutation. In rats, we can induce Autism by exposing them to valproic acid (found in antidepressants) during gestation (Schneider,Przewlocki, 2005)
It's difficult to "cure" genetic mutations, and because of moral issues (we obviously can't try to give autism to human children) we can't conclusively even say what causes Autism in humans. But we do know that there is a common genetic abnormality in the CNTNAP2 gene.
As of right now, no, there is no cure.

You should follow the medical establishment because it's based on responsibility, truth and the scientific method. It is the best way we know of determining truth.
If something came along which could be shown under experimental conditions to cure autism, then it would become a standard treatment.
And nobody has ever cured Autism, at this point it can only be managed. If you work with an autistic child early on and put in the work, you can improve their functionality.

You need to publish a paper because it's the end all of the research, but because it gives another person somewhere else, the opportunity to do the experiment. When that person gets published, someone else does the experiment, and so on. Its the retesting process of the scientific method, and it IS NEEDED.

It was supposedly testing caffeine's effect on adrenal function. It composed of a sample size of 17 (too small to be useful). He tested blood pressure, specific gravity, pH, and surface tension of single samples of the urine. One urine sample testing those parameters will not give you enough information on adrenal function. He then claims caffeine drinkers suffer from "adrenal exhaustion".
The reason why it isn't published is because its not real science.

The testing of his thesis was not relevant. His "conclusion" did not match the physiology. He basically made everything up. That is why he couldn't submit it to peer review, it was not even science. This is also a testament to his character. If he were a member of the scientific or medical community, he'd be outcast. But since he's a quack, he's embarrassed. Gary Null is not a Medical Doctor, he is not a chemist, he is not a biologist. He has not been trained to understand the things he speaks about, and it's pretty clear to me.

We all want Autism to be cured or prevented, but treatments have to be based on fact.
Hell, my school spent $1.55 billion on research in 2007, $730 million of that went to medical research. And that's just my school, one school (Johns Hopkins)
I know people who spend 90 hours a week in their labs trying to cure disease and prevent illness.

OK conspiracy nuts... this is one of today's headlines on MEDPAGETODAY (a widely read doctor's website)-- "Flu Shot Benefits for Elderly Questioned". It doesn't look to me like researchers are hiding anything about vaccines-- if someone finds something real they can publish it, like the authors did, and expose it. That's how science works. If you don't think vaccines are good for you publish a paper showing they aren't!!!

the mercury in vaccines is more dangerous than methylmercury (proven in several studies), and methyl mercury is what the EPA standards are based upon. Even still, the standards are also based upon an adult, not a newborn child. One shot by itself may also be under the EPA limit, but also tell that to the inexperienced brainless person giving those little kids shot on top of shot after shot in the same day like they always do these days to fit the shot schedule. THAT exceeds the limit.

Mercury is a toxin. This is well established. The merc in vaccines was supposed to be below the threshold dose to cause a neurological lesion. Histology from autistic patients tells us that it is likely a developmental disorder that (in the cases we've seen) most likely began before the child was born. Based on the slides, we don't see what would appear to be an "acute" tox. Thimerosal would stay in the brain a shorter amount of time than traditional mercury, but stay longer in liver/kidneys.

Even totally disregarding Autism, since WHEN is putting mercury in the body (even as a preservative of vaccines) an aid in any health benefit? That's what I want to know. You tell me. Last thing I heard mercury is a heavy metal poison, the variation in vaccines stays in the brain longer, and generally lingers in the body more in comparison to the type of mercury documented on the EPA's website (w/ studies done in monkeys), which could be more damaging.

The only vaccinated person ever to be protected against a disease that I know of was a boy who got a tetanus shot in the morning and was killed by a truck in the afternoon. He never got tetanus, so I guess that the vaccine could be said to have been effective.

Hello. I'm not saying that you're wrong, but you have a chicken and egg situation here. Autism is associated with GI problems. This is nothing new to us, so showing us an autistic child with GI issues is like showing me a camry and saying toyota. Just because the vaccine is "present in his bowels" doesn't mean the vaccine necessarily caused anything. The vaccine may be there, as you indicate, because the GI problem pre-existed. I hope I have made this clear.

Fluoride, at higher doses, it a toxin. It's in our city water so reduce our need for dental care, and it has worked. Barium doesn't bioaccumulate, unlike mercury. I think the factors for "dumbing down" are likely societal and the result of the change in the style of American education and culture.

The well know poison you speak of is not sodium fluoride but sodium fluoroacetate (big difference). Sodium fluoroacetate inhibits the Krebs cycle (i.e. aerobic respiration) and is found in some but not all rat poisons (1080). Sodium fluoride can cause skeletal fluorosis (which makes bones brittle and joints painful) at high concentrations. The concentrations found in the water supply are nowhere near high enough to cause skeletal fluorosis.

Allow me to clarify a few points: The diseases are not wiped out, and we rarely see them in this country because we immunize against them. If we stopped immunizations, the bugs would come crawling back. It's what they do.
The rate of classical autism, has in fact not changed. It has been constant. What is on the rise or has risen is the "new" autism spectrum disorder ASD, a cluster of DSM4 classifications that share characteristics with classical autism. The puzzle is more complex.

Hey guys. Some bankers from Prague or somewhere are paying for people to go online and refute anti-vaccinator's claims. It pays $200/hr (you have to actually be posting- they check!) and basically all you have to do is call them "crazy".
