In my opinion the problem is deeper and it not affect just Hungary but the entire Planet. Since early 1990's Football is in decay. The most important fundaments of the game are ball control, dribbling and passing. You don't see passing combinations anymore, well built plays with very few exceptions (FC Barcelona for example). Even Brazil is now changed. The team plays defensively. Watch the Brazilian past games in my Football playlists. The magic is gone...The last WC were awful.

Thanks for Uploading such a great match. Hungary losing the 1954 World Cup is the biggest upset in the history of Football. I have watched 50 minutes of that Final. The Germans had 6 chances and scored three goals. The Hungarians missed more than 20 opportunities and scored only two. I'm German but Hungary should have won that Final. Biggest heartbreaker in the history of the game. This Hungarian team is the best in history together with Brazil in 1958.

Of corse we gave a great respect the Brazil, Germany, England, Italy, Holland.... . We always admire the Brazilian football and also German. No. I thank you. But mostly I thank Hungary for giving the World this team. The Magic Magyars changed Football forever. From them on, there was no more fixed roles. I want you to know that I consider this Hungarian Team the Greatest team that ever existed alongside the1958 Brazil. And Ferenc Puskas is on my top all-time eleven, right there with Yashin, Beckenbauer, Maradona, Garrincha and Pelé. and forget about the jealous guys. You score 6-3 and shot the ball over 35 times!!!!

@MikeSV1989 Yes it's true but it's only history. Only the few smart people care this on this time. Hungarian football is not too strong yet because of many reason. The people care the rich teams, champions league..... And I think this is one of the problems. In that time the players played because they loved the football and the game was so beautiful. Not because of the money! In Hungary usually the rich children can play in the big clubs and no talent.To rase player very expensive on this time.

The Hungarians could easily have score more than 10 goals in this game, so as in the 1954 Final. I'm not going to say that Germany deserved to win. The result was fantastic to Germany, but the rain that felt on Bern that day was God crying for the Hungarian missed chances. Hungary should have won.
