I think part of Alex Jones' problem lies with his ego. He has a fragile ego he feels compelled to defend. For example, Alex Jones isn't that much of a major figure in this country. When he freaks out about people in the media and government that get upset about 9/11 Truthers, he's missing their point. The majority of those people think of Rosie O'Donnel and Van Jones and other high profile people like them... LEFTIES you big dummy.
Alex Jones gets some interesting facts posed on his show. Some are quite pertinent. Meanwhile, much of the rest of what his show is about is presenting mundane nonsense and merging it with relevant facts to present a skewed OPINION of the facts. On top of that, it's either diliberate and dishonest or simply poor comprehension, but he presents the opinions of other media people completely off from what their actual points of view are.
Point 1: If Alex Jones is a "Patriot" in favor of Constitutional government, why does he attack people like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and others who are in this vein? As opposed to people like Olberman, Mathews, and frankly the vast majority of the media.
Point 2: While others will admitt when they're wrong and revolve their commentary around facts, Alex Jones is 'never wrong', 'the only one getting it right', and the facts revolve around his conspiracies.

When Alex's viewers hear the same points being explained by Glen Beck, they might start watching Fox instead of Prison Planet. Alex wants to make sure he doesn't lose viewers to the mainstream media.
@Omnicronimous Point 2 - The way I see it, Alex Jones has integrity, because he's not willing to change his views. He's always on the same course, and presents information that is relevant to what he believes. I may not agree with everything he says, but he does cite many bills and executive orders which may be of interest to "truth-seekers." The best way to handle Alex is to research diligently all the allegations he makes, research his citations, and decide for yourself.
When it comes to news/politics I am always initially skeptical, no matter what the topic is, so I do research on each topic. However, when I view the news I also pay attention to the angle. When I watch/hear a media personality I pay attention to where they lean. Alex Jones attacks conservatives far more than he attacks anyone else, while claiming to be a constitutional conservative. That doesn't jive with me.
I am not convinced of his integrity. The first few videos I watched of him, I was open minded, giving the guy a chance. I've watched dozens now, and the more I watch, the less I like and trust him.
If you're a constitutional conservative then it's obvious who the biggest threats are to your rights. The left and the Democrats that enable them. Are compromising, spineless Reps. and psuedo conservatives good? No. But what good does it do for people like Jones to be headhunting ...

I completely agree... The "right" *was* already divided. They've been divided since Bush Sr. was in office. Many people hoped and expected that when Republicans had gained a strong majority in the House and Senate in the '90s that things would change for the better. That they would repeal and shut down the "machine". But ultimately they spent far more time just trying to get reelected than doing their job. Thus the disenchantment on the right with the Rep. establishment. Justly so.

@Omnicronimous I don't think we completely disagree to begin with. The state of American politics is such that neither party is doing what you'd expect. Many would say that both parties are doing the same thing. I've watched Alex Jones, and Peter Joseph of Zeitgeist, and it seems to be quite the opposite.. Alex enshrines the constitution, whereas Peter advocates a global resource based economy with literally no remnants of nationalism. There's a lot of middle ground.

Thanks Alex for showing the truth. How unbelievable this may sound, history has proven you right. The American government and military also fancied building labor/deathcamps during and after WWII so I wouldn't be surprised if they id right now.
The only thing I don't understand from governmental perspective what the fun, the use and advantage is of enslaving the civilian population. But I guess those people like to live in a pollution-heavy, overmilitarized industrial park...

I think part of Alex Jones' problem lies with his ego. He has a fragile ego he feels compelled to defend. For example, Alex Jones isn't that much of a major figure in this country. When he freaks out about people in the media and government that get upset about 9/11 Truthers, he's missing their point. The majority of those people think of Rosie O'Donnel and Van Jones and other high profile people like them... LEFTIES you big dummy.

Alex Jones gets some interesting facts posed on his show. Some are quite pertinent. Meanwhile, much of the rest of what his show is about is presenting mundane nonsense and merging it with relevant facts to present a skewed OPINION of the facts. On top of that, it's either diliberate and dishonest or simply poor comprehension, but he presents the opinions of other media people completely off from what their actual points of view are.

Point 1: If Alex Jones is a "Patriot" in favor of Constitutional government, why does he attack people like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and others who are in this vein? As opposed to people like Olberman, Mathews, and frankly the vast majority of the media.
Point 2: While others will admitt when they're wrong and revolve their commentary around facts, Alex Jones is 'never wrong', 'the only one getting it right', and the facts revolve around his conspiracies.

When Alex's viewers hear the same points being explained by Glen Beck, they might start watching Fox instead of Prison Planet. Alex wants to make sure he doesn't lose viewers to the mainstream media.

@Omnicronimous Point 2 - The way I see it, Alex Jones has integrity, because he's not willing to change his views. He's always on the same course, and presents information that is relevant to what he believes. I may not agree with everything he says, but he does cite many bills and executive orders which may be of interest to "truth-seekers." The best way to handle Alex is to research diligently all the allegations he makes, research his citations, and decide for yourself.

Your opinion is fair and reasonable.
When it comes to news/politics I am always initially skeptical, no matter what the topic is, so I do research on each topic. However, when I view the news I also pay attention to the angle. When I watch/hear a media personality I pay attention to where they lean. Alex Jones attacks conservatives far more than he attacks anyone else, while claiming to be a constitutional conservative. That doesn't jive with me.

I am not convinced of his integrity. The first few videos I watched of him, I was open minded, giving the guy a chance. I've watched dozens now, and the more I watch, the less I like and trust him.
If you're a constitutional conservative then it's obvious who the biggest threats are to your rights. The left and the Democrats that enable them. Are compromising, spineless Reps. and psuedo conservatives good? No. But what good does it do for people like Jones to be headhunting ...

I completely agree... The "right" *was* already divided. They've been divided since Bush Sr. was in office. Many people hoped and expected that when Republicans had gained a strong majority in the House and Senate in the '90s that things would change for the better. That they would repeal and shut down the "machine". But ultimately they spent far more time just trying to get reelected than doing their job. Thus the disenchantment on the right with the Rep. establishment. Justly so.

@Omnicronimous I don't think we completely disagree to begin with. The state of American politics is such that neither party is doing what you'd expect. Many would say that both parties are doing the same thing. I've watched Alex Jones, and Peter Joseph of Zeitgeist, and it seems to be quite the opposite.. Alex enshrines the constitution, whereas Peter advocates a global resource based economy with literally no remnants of nationalism. There's a lot of middle ground.

If you read about that Civilian Labor thing, you'll see that it's to place federal prison inmates into work camps (as we have been doing for a long time) found on army bases, and to possibly house them in case of overcrowding (which is a major problem now).

To some the Palestinian who blows himself up in a crowded shop is considered a terrorist, while another feels, if he weren't faced with 24hr occupation, he wouldn't strike out that way. Who is right? this Africa collected slaves and sold them is a myth. Slave traders came in, and stole the natives. Africans were complicit, but to a far less degree than people try to make it out to be.

ive heard about a hypothetical biological attack in three unrelated videos now...
1) in this one where that corrupt teacher says "if they kill 10,000 civilians with a biological agent.."
2) on the controversial issue of ordering hundreds of thousands of plastic coffins, FEMA and the CDC stated it was in the interest in the event of a mass biological outbreak.
3) some news story condoning the use of martial law in the event of a biological attack on us soil.

I red it and it looks like procedures to deal with overcrowding corrections facilities and having no direct labor cost workers (since it's under the FBOP... Federal Bureau of Prisons). In other words, the army could use civilian inmates from corrections facilities in order to do some work on some army camps.

There is no reason why they should force you to get a tetanus shot....if you contracted tetanus its not contagious to anyone else. Diptheria? I dont even hear about that being prevalent in this country. There have been only 60 cases in the last 30 years.
