I'm not sure what the actual test procedure SHOULD be, but yours is good enough. Yes, I too think the Visco may be weak, but you are asking it to do a lot. The fact that it spun the front wheels is good, but there should be far less RPM difference between the front and rear wheels.
My AWD got stuck in sand to day and I notice rear wheels sping more but I was not giving it too much gas
