I am a USTSA/IFP Pro and shoot a push shot. This is quick, but is a spray like thewillysdude correctly pointed out. It can be cut down to a low percentage scoring shot if you go to the same hole or two every time. Try setting the ball back behind the rod then recoil after hitting it. You can square it off long better that way.

This don't sound like a fast shot at all,the ball should hit the back of the net with a loud bang.I must admit, the shot looks fast it just dosn't sound fast.... maybe your volume isn't up to par? I have the fastest push shot around,& this is why i have the nickname kabam ! I'll post a video soon.

A good player should have a collection of shots of every kind, toe (pin), push, pull, , bump, etc. Of course he/she will most likely be better at some shots than others but unless you have one overpowering shot you need a selection to keep your opponant off guard. Can't really judge the speed of this shot but it is certainly good. Can you execute consistantly when you've got 50 bucks on the game and the guy across the table wants to kick your ass after the game?

Most cameras can't catch most players' shots. Use a high speed camera and THEN compare it to other shots caught on high speed film.
