I saw a "How It's Made" television episode on washing machines once. They add cement blocks to the inside of the machines to help them keep balance. This is why they are so heavy. It is odd that they just started complaining to you now. Also surprising when they take built in dishwashers as there is not a lot of metal in them.

Nothing like pissen off the plow driver be careful we get vengeful he might bury you in a huge windrow. I see both sides to the story you want to get home and he wants to finish his route and get home. Plus just think off all the people that screw with him noone likes us plow drivers no matter what we do we are always "screwing" someone with more snow or we hear I pay your salary (thats when I ask them for a raise) or something like that its really a thankless job.

nothing wrong with HD man, hell you can still get a pretty good clear look at things with 720P HD video doesn't have to be the full on 1080P and most cameras now days will do 720P you'e like a few people i know, hard core Sony, I am the same way about Canon but that comes with a price tag usually too. glad to hear your dad is improving man. as for the camera, shop around a bit, you could have told dude that the floor model would be fine at 1/2 price and see if he went for it lol.

Cant beat a handycam! My first video camera was a sony high8 handycam. It was one of the last ones made, and it was badass! I got short on money and pawned it and forgot about it (way before I discovered youtube) I want another handycam, or a JVC. That plowdriver needed his attitude adjusted for sure!

Also was interesting to see some cameras you were looking at and hear your opinions. I usually use my Nikon camera for video even though its not a camcorder per say. Kitteh no like camera. You should look at another brand other then sony for a video camera. Check out Panasonic or better yet Canon. Canon's have some of the best lenses on the market. You want to stay standard def then check out the Canon FS200, FS300, FS400...or whatever FS revision they are on. Standard Def, Built in light, Microphone input, SD Card and some have internal Solid State memory (not a Hard drive). I have the FS200 and love it for simple videos.
