he always sang, he loved to sing as well as play piano. At his funeral they played the aria from the GB variations and you could clearly hear him singing. It was heartbreaking stuff. Great documentary on him on Netflix Instant if you have it 'Glenn Gould: the genius witihn'.

i kinda like it. not in the way it would make the record better, there i prefere a clean one too. but in the way that you can hear how glen goldberg felt the music. close your eyes and listen to it :)
