Thanks for the detailed video review of the sideswipe model. :)

This is much improved over the gen1 design where the legs and hands are really stuck together and not very articulated.

I had the gen1 prowl unit ... and was gonna search for it ... but it just flashed over the flash video ... gonna go watch your review of it. :)

PS: Sometimes you do the transformation slightly off screen and it becomes hard to catch what you are doing. Otherwise, the vid is great!

i have a question i hope u can answer, first off i, i love ur reviews, but the question is on my new sideswipe one one of his front wheels, theres a peg to plug in the wheel to the rest of the car but it doesnt fit, it seems like the peg was made too big for the hole, it still works fine once transformed but when i do transform him it always pops off and is annoying and hard to get back in place, do u have any suggestions on how to make that peg into that hole????

ur supposed to push the body up and slide the "feet" part into the hood pannel ...it should sit properly .

Unlike other Autobots, Sideswipe was good in the Shattered Glass mirrorverse. Which means he originally wasn't. I remember in the cartoon hewas seen standing with Megatron at least once. And he must be evil coz his backwards version in Shattered Glass wasn't.

No, I mean that his Shattered Glass version helped the heroic Decepticons, so his original incarnation must have helped the EVIL Decepticons. I'm just implying something. Also it might be canonical sisnce I have seen him with Megatron in the G1 cartoon. It's probably just a technical error that was referenced in Shattered Glass. I wasn't being completely serious, it's just trivia one should consider.

I just bought Sideswipe yesterday and I just love him. I have him and my universe classics Sunstreaker next to each other. Sideswipe makes Sunstreaker remind me why I love the vehicle and robot modes. I am also extatic that he will be in Bay's Transformers. I so hope that Sunstreaker will be with him.

The red paint scheme looks real nice on this one. Sideswipe always was my favorite of the 2 brothers, and with this one, he's more so now. I don't usually get a figure if I already had another version of him, but in this case, I'll make an exception.
