Also it was not so small of a percentage of Africans who participated in the slave trade. In reality it was a fairly large amount. And yes some were captured in battles. And some battles were purposely created by the europeans. Many whites come from a heritage that was never directly involved in the African slave trade or are descendant of immigrants who came after it yet they are lumped into a category as "evil".
