I found a way to add videos to your zune without purchasing the converter.
if you have windows movie maker convert video files to wmv with that when it finishes saving the vidoe to windows movie make just find that video and you can put it in your zune or it'll play inside the zune program automatically.

You have to download Videos of the Internet in .WMV format onto your computer then drag and drop unto Zune software..... To convert DVD's you can use a program by CuCusoft called: DVD to Zune. Actually the design is based off of the Gigabeat (by Toshiba, I think). What Microsoft really did was add some really well written firmware and features, such as WiFi and the like. A touch wheel was in no way supposed to be in the design, instead it's a D-Pad with a back button and a Play/Pause button next to it. It's really easy to use, and if you have it inside of it's included case, you can use the buttons through it.
Mind you, I'm not knocking the iPod. It's a great mp3 player.
You know whats even cooler? You can put movies from You tube on it by using "TubeSucker-YouTube Video Downloader" to grab movies off here and then put them on ur zune.

isn't it weird that microsoft, while owning 30% of apple and the majority of the ipod stock, insists on showing apple up by making an mp3 player that can easily be upgraded online, and that can also is harder to hack into. but who needs to hack when there's the sync option.

i must say, i have one myslef, and i love it to death, the only complaint i have is the battery life, which only lasts about eh.. 6 hours if you keep it on, up to 12 if you conserve power, but other then this i think its absloutly amazeing, specialy for $250, same as a ipod video.

I like how they hide the button interface when they show any selecting going on. Embarassed that their selection interface is nowhere as intuitive as the Clickwheel.
I prefer the buttons to the clickwheel personally because I always accidentally activate the backlight and change the volume just by touching the wheel. They are both good interfaces though and I can see why lots of people like the clickwheel.

thats only if the music is bought from zune marketplace. ( i have a zune and the zune marketplace is fuking shity as hell ( no video) ) i use lime wire so it doesnt affect me atol i can send between frends and keep 4 fuking evr!

isn't it weird that microsoft, while owning 30% of apple and the majority of the ipod stock, insists on showing apple up by making an mp3 player that can easily be upgraded online, and that can also is harder to hack into. but who needs to hack when there's the sync option.
ipod's a rip off; a propagandistic, monopolistic society of mp3 players that can't handle competition much less anything else.

i must say, i have one myslef, and i love it to death, the only complaint i have is the battery life, which only lasts about eh.. 6 hours if you keep it on, up to 12 if you conserve power, but other then this i think its absloutly amazeing, specialy for $250, same as a ipod video.

yeah many new features....wi-fi transfer but you may only listen to the transferred song 3 times in a period of 3 days and then it is deleted automatically, and 30gb zune is much bigger than an 80gb ipod. besides zune marketplace does not have even the half of content that itunes store has.

dude do you remember the first ipod...as if microsoft would just throw the zune out to the public and not work out all the kinks...honestly whats so great about the ipod anyways there is nothing and ipod can do that the zune cant do better...and since when does anybody use the itunes store i have over 4000 songs on my ipod and have never once used the itunes marketplace

yeah DUDE what i meant was that itunes is better because it has a larger song collection. and maybe zune has stunning new features but half the size of gigabytes and only gives you 3 chances to hear a wi-fi transferred song in a lapse of 3 days; now that is not cool

yes in their BETA market released state that will be one of the big complaints but ipods don't even have wi-fi or customizable backgrounds or FM tuners or a 16:9 resolution or even downloadable games...so for micrsofts first reals MP3 player i'd say Zune>iPod any day

wi fi lets you only play a transferred song 3 times in a lapse of 3 days and then it is deleted, check that if you want to, and maybe ipod doesn´t have fm tuner but fyi there are downloadable games for ipod... such as bejeweled. Zune=looser

i meant full NTSC stle games to which microsoft owns rights to there was an article about it in gameinformer and official Xbox mag. anyway if you listened to a word i said youd probably realize that microsoft will patch out the 3 day deletion thing...and just maybe offer downloadable content that will enable the wi-fi to do more then just wireless transfer....BTW i have two ipods and id rather much have a Zune

weird of microsoft to patch things.let me know when microsoft expands zune's hard drive to equal ipod's (only 50gb to go) and when they equal the number of content availabe of itunes store in zune marketplace oh and LET ME KNOW when microsoft gets to own the 75% of worldwide mp3 players, when they make zune lighter and smaller and when their desing is not so bad and with a click wheel oh and when you get rid of your ipods to buy an incredible zune lol

I like how they hide the button interface when they show any selecting going on. Embarassed that their selection interface is nowhere as intuitive as the Clickwheel.

I prefer the buttons to the clickwheel personally because I always accidentally activate the backlight and change the volume just by touching the wheel. They are both good interfaces though and I can see why lots of people like the clickwheel.
