Jaws 3D came out in 1983, Friday the 13th Part 3D came out in 1982, Amityville Horror Part 3 in 3D came out in 1983 as well. they didn't use Real3D glasses at the time.

If there ever is another Jaws movie, it should be a prequel and centered around the Jersey Shore shark attacks in 1916. I think 12 or 13 people were killed during that.

It's heavily rumored they want to Remake ''Jaws 1'' an make it in 3d which is just stupid. There just going to show the shark to much, CGI the hell out of it, an get some half ass cast that won't live up to the Original.

The 4th is the WORST of the worst. Its not realistic for a shark to obsess and stalk a family. They took that one line from "Jaws 2" and just ran with it, where Brody (Roy Schieder) asked the marine biologist "You don;t think that if one shark is killed, another shark would come in and.." and then she chimes in "Sharks don't take things personaly, Mr, Brody". I would have liked to have seen this in theaters as a kid, in 3D. Watching it on TV, there are scenes where you can obviously tell they were intended solely for 3D. Without the 3D effetcts, it's totally different. Too bad you don't see theaters re-release movies like this

Jaws 3-D was the begining of the end for the franchise. It took one year to film, the 3-D was horrible, the 35-foot long Great White Shark looked like a fat pig that just ate all of the cast & crew. The script & story was so lame, no director wanted it and thus they had to select a previous production designer (Joe Alves) to direct.

It was by far, the turkey film of 1983.

i saw this movie, unfortunately not in 3-D. I'm not really a fan of the Jaws series in general but I did like the first one since it was directed by Steven Spielberg. One shot in the movie that did freak me out though, 2-d or 3-d was when the shark was like snarling or something and coming straight toward the glass window of the underwater office thing
