The food system runs on "Just in Time" delivery, in which the stores get resupplied every 2 weeks and are completly operated by machine and there are no manual ways of getting resupplied, now imagine that the servers the program operates on fail because the net falls apart due to lack of maintnance, there will be complete anarchy in the streets, we are only 9 meals away from anarchy, when people get hungry they lose it.

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and I got plenty of food stored here for me and my wife. All you need is part of a closet or in our case and out door storage closet on the porch.

look up the company food insurance, we use there easy pay plan breaks up the bill for a year supply over 5 years so you can get your supply built up over time little by little and the food last 25+ years.

What happens when your ATM card stops working because the machines breakdown due to the operator not being in to maintain and keep the system working? What happens when the woman who has 2 kids can't buy them food because her debit or her credit cards are not working? WHat happens when the people, National Guard, Police etc decide to stop working and return to their families because they want to help their families and see that the Global system is crashing? Think of the next big 1 as the RESET

The next pandemic won't cease normal life for 6 months, when trade goes down, when the internet goes down, when ships stop shipping food, when the people needed to do the important work of keeping society in check stay home because they have family, that is when our society dies, the world economy cannot remain alive without people working, what happens when the people who make your TV are dead? Either way, this film shows how easily the infected people will spread it. The cure of course, the new vaccine could well be just as deadly. Either way, currently, here in 2009 they are "preparing us" by scaring us all silly. Anyone with a sniffle will run to the ER or doctor's office and beg for the vaccine. Eeek!

You fail to take into consideration that the US was very filthy at this time on our history. Which helped spread the disease quicker plus our diets were lacking keeping our immune systems unprepared as well.

With modern sanitation and diet, we are a lot more robust than in 1919. Also have to remember that Asia has dealt with this virus for almost a decade now, if it was going to jump it would of already. It is too complex to make the jump from bird to human, to human to human.
