@Zee96969696 Both are equally dangerous, but I'd say corrections is more hazardous. Police have many more tools to use then your average correctional officer. Where I work, we have batons and pepper spray. Guns are kept in towers because you wouldn't want an inmate getting their hands on them. We have the luxury of knowing everyone around us is a convicted criminal and potentially violent, police don't know what they're facing when they roll up on someone. Both jobs are demanding.
