it's not the US as a country that causes damage in Iraq, it's the MNCs..
it's all about competition, bad one..
the US MNCs want to secure access to oil by means of intervening the government policies.. who's the government? you know who they are..just a bunch of hungry, greedy businesmen
FYI--Al Jazeera is pro Hamas. Look at MEMRI's web site for the latest pro suicide bombing AlJazeera propaganda video. It's very revealing of the bias they bring to the table.
When a foreign nation militarily invades and occupies your country and you fight back what would you call yourself? Minutemen? Revolutionaries? Patriots? Freedom Fighters? Le Resistance? No you're right, you'd be called terrorists....idiot
America has sacrificed her blood and treasure in giving control of Iraq to the Shiites. In return, Iraq owes America BIG TIME. Iraq will be an American ally in the Middle East for a long time no matter how the Iraqi politicians want to spin things.
Iraq owes nothing to the Americans. The U.S. invaded Iraq for its own self interests (oil). Even the mustard gas used on Shiites and Kurds were supplied by the Americans to Saddam Hussein. Iraq position in the Middle East makes it the perfect base from which to control the region and launch soldiers from to crush any opposition. If the politicians of Iraq don't listen to the will of the people and rather the will of the U.S. I'm sure the Iraqi people are going to revolt.
Yes, the US invaded Iraq for its own self interests. All nations act in their own self interests. Now the US has forward bases as it works to overthrow the murderous Iranian Theocracy. But the Shiites were put in power by the Americans. They owe America for liberating them from Saddam's genocide and that's one debt they are going to pay. Don't you think the Iraqis are tired of war? Do you think they'll revolt so they can fall under the control of the Islamic psychopaths destroying Iran?
I am also concerned that getting caught up in that rhetoric, which is intended to justify American hegemonic agendas, continues to overlook the problem that the U.S. has blatantly defied the Geneva Convention by entering Iraq in the first place. Iraq owes nothing to America, and America ought to make reparations to the rest of the world by putting the Bush Administration on trial in the World Court so they can be tried for war crimes.
Wonder not. I know exactly what they mean. For instance, Iran kills homosexuals for the "crime" of being homosexual. Sounds murderous to me. The leadership of Iran is composed mainly of religious scholars who claim to speak and act for God. Sounds like a theocracy. And the crackpot President of Iran says it would be worth it if Iran lost half her population in a war if the result of the war was that Israel no longer existed. Sounds very genocidal, doesn't it? I hope I was helpful to you.
A lot of the media's representation of the Iranian president has been thoroughly proven to be false. Know propaganda when you see it.
I think iamca0 is, for a youtube poster, unusually dead on. You are caught up in this idea that America's intention is to go in and save Iran. Do you really think they're that righteous? Why don't they force a regime change in Turkey? What about Israel? Zimbabwe? Swaziland? What do you think the United States' real intentions are?
Iran is trying to establish hegemony over the entire Muslim world. From the perspective of Iran, once a region becomes Islamic, it is forever Islamic. Hence, Israel and Spain are to be returned to Islamic rule. And from the perspective of the Americans, the Iranians are a threat to the hegemony of the Rule of Multinational Corporations. America isn't in it to save Iran. America is confronting Iran by putting sympathetic regimes in Iraq and Afghanistan and then overthrowing the Iranian govt.
it's all about the money..oil...greed...
