  • Hey, Du solltest unbedingt mal in Ieper am Menentor zum Last Post spielen...wenn sie dich lassen...supergenial, ich kenne den tune in und auswendig, und viele spielen es einfach runter, aber bei Dir steckte soviel Gefühl drin! Danke! Und vergiss die Deppen, die hier dämliche anti-deutsche Kommentare ablassen...scheissegal, aus welchem Land wir kommen oder? Das sollte doch mal endlich vorbei sein.........;

  • slow dublings

  • slow dblings

  • A lone piper ,overlooking a meadow serene, is the way i deal with this loss and horror. The enemies of enlightenment will not win.

  • Hallo Jürgen

Great playing. I just love Flowers of the Forest,- and you play it great. Lovely throws and doublings. Amazing.

If I might come with some small notice...... I find that you in the third part play the highG in bar 2, 6 and 10 way to short. It's an eighth note and has to be emphasized more, since this is our whole beat. Better to keep the following F almost short as a grace note. This realy makes this part swing..... but great stuff from you. Love it.

  • i like that scotisch (l) love that thats my dads land x

  • Great job on this tune. I"m working on this tune myself.

Loved the silhouette effect in the vid.

  • wonderful, unmöglich, dla balle trop booooooooooooooooo

  • You know the most amazing classical music comes from the German tradition - Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner and even our beloved, honorary Brit Handel, but the Celtic music tradition contains some of the most haunting folk melodies and lyrics.

I wonder why this is? All the Celts live in tough places to earn a living, and have war torn histories. Did this inspire it? An amazing tradition.

  • Hey dude!

You know the Mozart, Wagner and more or less Beethoven are Austrian... Not German...

So don't andorn Germany with borrowed plumes.

  • @saufdichweg When we talk about German culture we Brits usually also mean Austrians and Swiss (at least the German bit).

It's similar to Germans describing people of British descent such as Australians and especially Americans as Anglo-Saxons.

They're not English, but they are related.

  • @saufdichweg Wagner was Austrian? Where did you go to school, boy? Ever heard of Bayreuth ??

  • @gert83

its more like celts had more feelings and had lives...

in Germany everything was out of selfishness and your own love to only those you choose to love...

thats why I dont really like Mozart, Bach nor Beethoven... I just dont feel like its even music... only thing there is in it is self love and close-minded point of view on the world...

in celtic music I can see love to nature, world, people, music... everything...

  • I never knew any grannies or grandads. All dead before I was born.

But my dad landed on Sword Beach on D-Day with the Kings Own Scottish Borderers so I was brought up with his stories of heroism and at times not so heroic acts.

They lived with me and though I don't support war I know the effects it has on a man. Of course, he was a hero to me, he was my dad, but always there was a shadow, a regret, a sorrow, that he had lived and his best friend had died.

    RIP dad, united at last.

  • this played at my grandads funeral.

    i miss him

  • I wish I was as lucky as you mates to know your Granddad, my only regret in life.
