@xaintron I bought it in a store in Tokyo. It is actually an Emidisc pre-release acetate - I've never seen a released vinyl version of this tune but I'm sure they exist
@xaintron I bought it in a store in Tokyo. It is actually an Emidisc pre-release acetate (I assume a UK acetate but don't know for sure) - in Jamaica this song was released as the B-side of 'You Don't Know' on Harry J....
when was this recorded? BTW: This is NOT acetate. This is vinyl...Joe South wrote, recorded, and distributed this song in 1968. It is a wonderful song, and this version is quite good! I like the reggae sound...the song is timeless..
sounds good, I like the version, but it'll never be worth the value of the original 45 I have by Joe South.... Now, I'm not negating the song, Joe South, or music, I'm just saying this vinyl recording isn't going to be as valuble.
