  • No matter who comes, Kirani will be ready. In high school they called Kirani the shifter because whenever he's behind in a race he just shifts into another gear and leaves the competition in the dust.

  • that kids a monster

  • Bolt, Blake, ashmeade are all good 400m runners 2012 going b quite interesting yr

  • @donraoul07 Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake are short sprinters, 100m and 200m. Neither will compete in the 400m in London.

  • If Merritt was in the shape he was in during the olympics...

  • @F6SuperTornado08 guess u never heard about "THE JAGUAR" bout shape, boi get run down,he better get in shape if he wants silver in london cause its gonna look like labor day in BK (only westindian flags) GOUYAVE TOWN BITCHS!!!!!!!!!

  • from what i saw here he won gold already in the 2012 olympics

  • all these colors remind me o starbursts

  • they're all hot rawr 400m sucks

  • Though id just let you all know, Kirani James just liked my status on facebook. yeahhhh.

  • @AlmightyShiz It is not guaranteed but Bolt is on the roster to run the 400m and 4x400m if Jamaica is to sweep the sprint events and take home gold. It can't be done without him. Gay is in training for the 400m. He is not ready for the 100m and maybe will never be back to his old form.

  • @DragonoathVideo Usain Bolt will run in the 400m and 4x400m at the 2012 Olympics. I think Tyson Gay suppose to run the 400m and 4x400m too.

  • @phebeharris No they are not, who the hell told you that?

  • @J2JMC These are slow times. The clock was manipulated for this event and they still pushed in slow times. If the clock was honest then I would have said the time wasn't slow. They should have ran no less than 44.30 something the IAAF was going for.

  • @phebeharris Dude those are fast times the record is 43.1 and at this distance a second aint much even at this level usually olympic times are in the low 44's and the high 43's are what you get at the actual olympics so wait till then

  • Anyone catch the error that this was an 800m in the video description?

  • I'm still saying, Jeremy Wariner for London 2012. He has redemption for Beijing.

  • GRENADA MASSIVE!!!!!

  • i can barely run it in about 50 something seconds :p

  • That was a really nice race, haha. We won it in their face.

  • but none of you can run even run 47 second 400m let alone 44 so stfu about their times until you can match them

  • no usain bolt

  • @BrentPottenger Shut the fuck up. These guys that ran the 400m aren't 18 year olds.

  • @phebeharris james is 19 , born september 1 1992

  • @Cobrien1977 They all need new coaches. The 400m and 4x400m was sad to look at. I never seen such slow times at such a high event. What is store for the Olympics. The IAAF fixed the time for this event and they still pulled in slow times.

  • @phebeharris lol thse are no slow times. Mayb slower than the past couple of years but not slow. No reason to talk shit especially when you can't do this.

  • @BrentPottenger you dumb ass; they aren't 18 year olds.

  • what a HORRIBLE run by Merritt. Almost a second slower than his Olympic win (43.75).

Merritt is either out of shape or needs a new coach.

  • ROLL TIDE

  • This was such a slow race. They all ran like freshman college students.

  • greenz gangan global

  • WOIIIIII!:)

  • GRENADA to di world !

  • James form is crazy. He flops all over the place. But he manages to apply enough energy to moving forward as well as sideways.

I'm glad he beat doper Merritt. He won't have such an easy time beating Wariner.

  • Not sure why Grenadians are so super sensitve . In the world of sports lots of "enemies" are created all for the love of sports. Since u guys are not use to winning anything i guess you have never been targeted before . Get a thick skin people cuz London is only a few months away . Once u win the medal u are longing for the whole world is going to be on your back for all the wrong reason. Enemies comes with winning and is not always a bad thing.

  • roll tide

  • i raced kirani a week ago and beat him!!! he got mad and got some goons and broke my legs so i wouldnt be able to race anymore...i plan to sue!

  • Looks like Merritt's dealer was out of testosterone lately.

  • good run Kirani grenada to the world

  • @olekiller11 too funny. u fix him. I am Antiguan... Big up Grenada a dat we say.

  • first non american champ since sometime in the 1980s? i think. thats still amazing though, a world champ and still a junior.... fantastic.. just fantastic! can't wait to see the 4x4

  • big up to Grenada!

  • Kirani James still has alot of work to do if hes going to drop 1.5 seconds off his PR to get the world record. I'm just sad he didnt lose cause then he would have had a temper tantrum like he always does

  • @CrankyBuddha Lol.. I agree

  • @CrankyBuddha meanwhile my entire country is celebrating the biggest victory we ever but you being the cunt that you are wishes that he lost...

  • @TrueasSteele Youre right, I guess it would have been pretty degrading for you guys to have to have him throw another screaming fit like he does every time he loses, and sometimes when he wins. So I'm glad he won

  • @CrankyBuddha ever wonder why? its because he has the hopes of an entire nation on him every damn race

  • @TrueasSteele Yeah, that must be it. I just figured he was pubescent.

  • @TrueasSteele i wouldnt say hopes of an entire nation. what do the people of his nation have to gain from him winning?

  • @Jetkillr National pride! That's all. It feels good to see your country finally up on the podium collecting a gold and knowing that the future is bright for this young man and our athletes. Grenada to the world!

  • @Jetkillr same thing the americans did when they won the olympics in hockey

its the recognition. the feeling that your country has some standing in the world. the glory, the pride and the revenge.

so shaddup you not no grenadian

  • @TrueasSteele so yea im sure EVERYONE in the country feels like they got revenge, and for what? Getting kicked in the ass by every other country in everything? Now they win one 400m champ and its all better? I doubt 80% of the country even knows this guy won this race. Ill bet they dont even care because they are trying to feed their families and working. They dont have to worry about this kind of glory, revenge and pride thing you are talking about. So YOU can shut up.

  • @Jetkillr im sorry do you live where i live

EVERYONE saw this race back home EVERYONE back home knows who Kirani James and Rondell Bartholomew are and this was on national news for a week

so shut yuh bloodclat mouth if you aint living in grenada and HUSH

  • @TrueasSteele whats a bloodclat? well thats great that everyone watched the race and im glad you feel happy someone from your country finally won something. im sorry that no one noticed your country before. enjoy your 15 minutes of fame.

  • @Jetkillr it means tampon, in a sense,

    ..and thank you

    we will

  • @CrankyBuddha Realy, i was becoming a fan of Kirani but since he thows tantrums like a boy i have to reconsider. This is a man sport and real men dont throw tantrums i dont think he is ready for the olympic.

  • @gutter125 when did you see kirani throwing tantrums in this world championships?

  • @peepsi23 Did not see him throw tantrums , however i was responding to a comment made by another person. Sorry i resonded to the wrong person.

  • WOW, what a comeback.....

  • I could be all those guys...... Riding my bicycle.

  • Kirani will dominate this event for the next 10 years for sure, he's all talent and some day he will hold the record for the 400m. Grenada to the world. 2012 will be greater.

  • And James had horrible form in the finish. Fix that, and he would've dusted everyone.

  • He Wanted to grab him and Choke him out 2:20

  • GouyaveStreetElite if you nah mean. Kirani we proud

  • Wow.. i think kirani James going to beat the world record 1 day..

  • I jumped out of my seat when I watched this!!! Amazing

  • only in the caribbean ..............

  • go grenada go......love it

  • Its Grenada, and go ask your mother she would tell you where Grenada is. That's where you daddy is really from

  • @olekiller11 LOL

  • Where the heck is grenade?

  • Kirani will crack the world record soon. He has that talent.

  • @MrSTONYKIRUI yea i think i can crack it to i put peanut butter around my asshole

  • im so proud of my fellow grenadian. im posting stuff about this race everywhere! :D

  • GRENADA TO THE WORLD....Now one cannot say Grenada not on the map..Thanks to Kirani James AKA gear shifter

  • Grenada to d world! Show them Kirani natural talent no drugs! Made in Grenada u guys doh see nothing yet! Make way for THE JAGUAR!

  • Lashawn Merritt did a good job to only have 4 races of the year under his belt. great job to Kirani he his country proud. hopefully these two work hard for next season because i bet you anywhere Jeremy Warner was watching and don't forget he's run 43.4 and merritt 43.7 so next year is going to be great.

  • Made in GRENADA

  • Great job Kirani and roll tide..but all this showed is how talented merritt really is, because he didn't run for almost to years and to come back and run a 44.3 and finish with a 44.6.. that's crazy..cant wait to see him next season when he gets more races under his belt...

  • IT'S Kiraniiiiiiiiii!

  • Roll Tide!!!

  • Kirani James is a beast!

  • it says men's 800m?

    lol

  • kirani to the world

  • Wait...Jeremy Warner wasn't in the race. What happened to him? He didn't qualify for the finals or is he injured?

  • @BSMART18 he got injured agian, he wants to rest up for the next season because olympics are around the corner, i'm very disapointed that he wasn't in Korea this year, haven't seen him since the glory days of him running 43.8s =(

  • good run kirani, gonzalez has injury, she have not ran.

  • james at 18 years, straight out of highschool. he has a nice future ahead of him

  • @c22dividedby7 yea he does he's another lashawn because lashawn did the same thing right out of high school

  • @c22dividedby7 what does "straight out of high school mean"..?? Because He definitely went to Alabama for 2 years. remember... SEC..?? NCAA, thats far from high school buddy..

  • incredible.

  • Lol that has my spikes the Nike maxcat2 merit still my hero
