It sounds like Hefrield joined Megadeth rather then Mustaine. That would have been a good thing for megadeth had that happened since Mustaine is one of the worst metal vocalists out there.
On the other hand, Megadeth's music wouldn't exist as it does these days. We both agree that Mustaine is not the most striking vocalist out there, though.

I referred to tabulatures for the lick after the first silence and for the double solo... pretty much just to know what the melody does. I would rather look for best way for ME to play it, not use the one in the tabulature.
excellent cover, if i could criticize anything, it would probably be the singing (but hell, who can sing like mustaine anyway?) its missing some snarl, and Mustaine kinda runs the words together, so maybe slur them more and add more bite to them. But I really have no leg to stand on, i can play maybe the opening riff and chorus...
For some reason, when I'm singing and playing, that's about the most difficult thing to have in the game. But actually, it is the same with, say, Dave Mustaine and James Hetfield.
Of course, there are days and songs on which you never have trouble, but that's just my observation.
I do have to point out that this still isn't how I perform live... when there's people around :) - meaning the band and the audience - more shit happens.
