i have read that each of the bending styles got there on kung fu style to represent it even toph's metal bending.

i think it would be bad ass if they went the route of having full realized avatars use Jeet Kune Do (the style bruce lee invented)

It looks like the tricking style will be used for the metal bending police. There are a couple shots in the segments of him having something like a metal rod. In the panel they had a concept for the police to have metal spools they wear on their back to shoot out and do crazy stuff like swing around the city. So they would want to see how that movement worked out as well at 1:43 you can see him mimic like he's shooting something out from his arm

ok all benders are sticking with shaolin, tai chi, and hung gar. mma will probably will be used for the benders in the pro bender matches like the last one they used a wrestling parody out of, maybe more the metal benders, the trick will be mostly for the non benders since they need to get around the benders to block their chi.

I think the mma style will have more of an earth bending aspect like many of you have suggested, and even though the tricking style has appeared in the trailer and performed by a firebender, I think based on the design of the chi blockers and how they seem more agile, they will have more insane tricking aspects to their style

I'm suprised they are now using tricking for reference. unless they used it in the last airbender as well but i didn't notice. i guess sifu kisu would incorporate qigong if neccesary since it seems he is over chinese martial arts. and i wonder if we will see parkour of any kind seeing as united republic city has lots of skylines and buildings and we saw skyline action in the trailer. just sayin.

@mulan4ever14 I can't actually :/ The trailer and this demo are the only clips they showed us, and were the only thing I recorded. I was busy during the rest of the time typing, as I was the one doing a live twitter session during the panel, trying to get detailed updates to everyone not at the con as soon as information was released. I am sorry no one recorded the entire thing, but all of the information they shared as well as most of the images released have made their way online.
