What she did not tell you is that the tax professionals are aware of many more credits that may be available or a lot of planning tools etc. The only return that a person can safely do is the one who is single, has W2 and files Form 1040 EZ. The rest I would recommend at least talk to a professional before doing anything. The mistakes can be costly.
