Thanks Adrian, my pleasure, Jazz is simply worth all the work and dedication, cause it's founded in a solid tradition,it will always be around, greets Vic.
Hi. Victor You are one hell of a Jazz guitarist. I have been trying my hand at this jazzy stuff for a few years now but I am still struggling. Have you any advice on easy standards to learn first.
Thanks for a fantastic Youtube resource for Jazz musicians.
Thanks Colin, much appreciated, well take a few easy tunes like"Blue Bossa" Autumn Leaves" "Tune up' where the chord progressions are limited to one or two modulations(change of key) and be shure to learn your scales and 2-5-1 progressions in major and minor(very important) and play real slow at first with full concentration on melody and phrasing, Greetings and lots of success,Vic.
Love this tune, Vic. I used to play this one real fast and sing it like Rudy Vallée. I love your smooth, relaxed version. Sounds like hittin' the Jazz Club for real, man! 8-)
Hi Scott, I can imagine you doing it in that way, the nice thing bout all these Standards is you can fool around with them and make your own thing, I agree this tune has a fine chord progression and really invites for free melodic invention, thanks for dropping in,brother,Vic.
What a nice way to say hello to a friend now living in another world, Vic. You're able to express the warmest feelings and give us others the impression of easyness at the same time. True friendship, true music. Greetz and respect, Jogi
Thanks Jogi, I have many nice recordings of us playing together, I'm glad I have them as a fantastic memory, memories of a great musician. thanks for your great friendship.look in your Flagstaff guest book, Greets Amigo also to Angele,Vic.
As smooooth and as rich as ice cream Vic, and just as delicious! A great heart felt dedication. What a wonderful way to honor your friend and colleague. 5*+ -Derek
