I'm looking at videos of this game, and I'm having a hard time liking it. Sure, it doesn't look bad, but when you put it up against the other X games (especially X8, which perfects the 3D), it's kind of shoddy.
I've always hated these "cyber" Mega Man X levels. They're such a lazy design. X5 and X6 had all their later levels just different colored versions of "cyber" nonsense. So lazy and uninteresting.
Obviously, you can't recognize the genre it's supposed to fall under, or the obvious homage to Tron, so I won't bother explaining it to you. Besides, it's not like you could've thought of anything better, faggot.
Snipe Ariquick (Anteator) is the only boss in X7 (and I think ANY X game) that Capcom forgot the "hit stun" animation on, though the "special scream/grunt" is still there. That's the only reason he can (and will) always retaliate even when hit right (making a perfect victory pattern impossible.)
I could NEVER defeat Snipe Anteator for a first boss. IMHO, I'd recommend to myself and others that as the toughest boss in MMX7, Snipe Anteator would be best saved for last.

Nice job on the boss. I love this stage and the music for it, but Snipe Anteator was a tough boss for me to beat. I even had trouble using Moving Wheel on him; for a weakness, it certainly doesn't do a lot of damage.

For his weakness, you must hit his tail, because that is his weak point. Using Moving Wheel should cause him major damage, as well as a Charge Shot.

As for the Japanese voices, there's actually an audio option in the sound section giving you the option of Japanese voices for the cutscenes.

However, in X8, we can skip the introduction of an Irregular, in this game, it is impossible, but those will gain Japanese acting as well.
