i feel like, the delaney and tell the king, they are both related each other... when i listen to tell the king.. it always remind me sadness.. i dont know why.
and the delaney's intro solo is remind me the same feeling too.
horrowshow and vertigo make me feel so happy and enjoy.
cant stand me now and dont look back in to the sun both are pretty simple for me, i dont know why, maybe i listen at them too much.
death on the stairs is the best song of the libertines.. at least for me.
These vids have helped rekindle my love for pete and his music, but I still can't help but feel this is old material and most babyshambles tracks don't get close to the magic of the libertines
The die hard Pete fans need to realise that he will never have the chemistry on stage that he did without Carl. I mean "death on the Stairs" is a prime example of the magic they done together.
I can't help but feel like we are missing out on even more great music from the result of them falling out.
Agreed, I think if the band hadn't split up we could of had two more brilliant albums. Or even if they just officially released the Legs 11 demos that would have been great. But I reckon if Pete got his act together, stopped hanging around with wasters like the general, and had a proper go at getting off the drugs he's still got enough talent in him to produce some more classic music like The Libertines.
Agreed. You know what i thoght was cool? Im from the south east so imagine my surprise when i was walking through a shop in Cincinnati (Ohio) a few weeks ago and saw an article on a very popular magazine about "why Pete is so important to music."
Since working out here i have not found any fans so i was really pleased to see such a well written article. Think the mag was called "spin." Should google it
I live in Moncton (eastern Canada) and I saw the same magazine in a record shop! Totally thrilled, no one knows much about pete "the artist" around here..
babyshambles are quality though. if the libertines got back together it wouldnt be the same and petes music that he has made with the babyshambles is more underground and raw and i prefer it to the libertines in some ways. both bands were and always wil be quality petes a legend and i cant wait for his solo album
