sometimes, i think chihaya and kagetsuya are the only angels who care enough about humans and are correctly dubbed the name sake angel. the others im not so sure...

The original manga ran from 1988 to 1994 and the OVA ran from 1989 to 1990 for the first two so they follow the manga in volumes 1 and 2. OVA 3 and 4 were done after the manga was finished in 1996. These two stories completely undermine the manga. Chihaya becomes so focused on his complex, when there's no reason because by the end of the manga there are black angels on Eden and on Earth.
