  • Wow! I thought the rev was an actor and this all a shot at religion.

    Boy, was I wrong.

  • for every cup of coffee bought at starbucks, $1 is given to israeli to help them kill the palestinian people

  • this Gives Christian a bad name..i believe he Billy is working more torwards angering people and looking crazy..

  • @Revivalkingdom Considering how Starbucks and it's CEO Howard Schultz financially support the terrible Zionist Israeli government is much worse than Billy striving to get people to be angry & looking crazy.

  • Dueshenbahgin is "trying to get Americans to stop shopping"? ....But he'd sure love you if you buy his book!! LOL

    STARBUCKS > "Rev." Billy

check out my channel for proof that God supports Starbucks!

  • I work for Starbucks! I love Starbucks! That white haired prick can go suck a cappuccinos dick.

  • Oh my God. You've just spat in the name of Jesus to become popular. You use his name in vain to make yourself famous. Have you ever heard a bible story when Jesus led his disciples towards a protest? I don't think so. Start asking yourself.. what would Jesus DO? Now see all of these people who do not believe, do you think you've helped them towards Jesus? You've just led them astray by doing this nonsense.

  • I love this. It is awesome!

  • who gives a fuck what jesus thinks?! that bastard wont effin leave us alone

  • thats a nice looking starbucks? wonder what would jesus by at Walmart?

  • And their new logo is coming closer . . . look at the versions from 1971 to 1987 to 1992 to their new 2011 logo. The green twin-tailed siren gets closer and closer and closer. One day we just might be drinking coffee in her nasal cavity.

  • I LOVE STARBUCKS!!!!!

  • @Fallinldols What would jesus buy ? probably no coffee? You People are such drama queens. The Word of god is : Be yourself etc. These ppl on the clip prove him wrong , i think they are the devil himself , fucking idiotic ppl they should die a painfull death

  • @efTelmoo I think your ego should die a painful lonesome death. You'd probably die off as soon as that happens though, you'll have no teet of the establishment to suckle off of feeding you your rancid death milk you call your life. Get over yourself pal these people are being themselves by going in these retarded ass coffee shops and telling you to stop sucking on satans meaty throbbing gristle. So you have fun wishing people death you cocksucker.

  • @Fallinldols Ah man , go get some professional help , you are fucking sick and retarded.

  • burn em all

  • They are changing it to Israeli bucks and i hear with each venti u purchase, they donate 1 bullet to the Israelis.

  • the only reason i liked this video was cuz it provided a good laugh

  • Protesting always makes a difference to someone.

  • protesting in one location or few locations isn't going to make difference. protest outside of the CEOs house. break into the motherfucker, take some money too..

  • @dontbugit yeah, it'll help to be inside prison for stealing. Don't become the enemy, every tv show can tell you that

  • Lesqq as if the close they are wearing the products they are using are soo faree..

  • Starbucks actually does use free trade coffee...

  • THey should have called cops and kick their holy asses outta starcucks!

  • It sounds like they are chanting "RESPECT STARBUCKS!". I don't buy that overpriced crap either. I make it myself for 10cents a cup! :P

  • I would've thought this was a joke if I was in there and saw this people walk in...I love starbucks :D

  • hallelujah!!!!

  • did you say common sense? Did you just say christianity was common sense? That must have been a joke.

  • BOYCOTT STARBUCKSSS!!!!!!!

    STARBUCKS SUPPORTS ISRAEL!!!!

    (both militarily, and financially)

    BOYCOTT ISRAELI GOODS!

    DOWN WITH APARTHIED!!!

  • @malekeh All of America supports Israel, their entire country is pretty much entirely funded by the American government.

  • W T F ????????

  • a trombone?? are you kidding me?? LOL

  • i love ppl......

  • Hes in the right spirit of things....

What might seem a little over the top at first...

but, what would the man from the jungle think if he saw us all shopping for the first time? Who's mad - the shoppers or this guy?

Hmmm. thats an easy one to answer! and YOU know it too!

    THE SHOPPERS!!! hahaha

  • @DumpYourTelevision HAHAHAHHAH, um no.

  • the people in the shop are like what the crap?

  • People are focusing on the wrong issue the real problem with starbucks is the same as all other big corporations. They exist to fund the lucerferian agenda. Look at the logo (and the logo of other corporations) right side up its a depiction of dagon the fish god and upside down its a depiction of the baphomet.

  • If I don't buy this coffee for $4 those farmers won't even get thoce 40 cents

  • Of ALL the things to protest against.

    It's coffee.

Does anybody really see how completely unnecessary this is?

  • i see it. the funnt thing is that, people are being against big companies, yet the actual protestors are all using bottled water they bought, wearing nikes and designer sunglasses? these people are hypocrites, thats all. starbucks is a choice to buy. if you have the money to spend then go for it. yes its true they really only spend 40 cents out of a 4 dollar coffee. but they have to make profit! for the convenience of making us the coffee and bringing us close locations, it evens out.

  • @DeceivingSecrets (sigh)................

  • I love it when freak boy "catches the spirit". Freak show.

  • At 1:55, look at the guy with the cringing face. His expression is classic!

  • LOL

  • and did you see the main guy pretend to faint half way through.

you fucking riduculous americans get on my tits with your constant acting.

  • yes i know. i wish i could get a white suit and megaphone for just falling over.

  • YES. the coffee is overpriced. and YES, the famers get too little money.

But you have to understand that when your getting coffee from the south east of africa, and bringing it over to america, its gonna cost a lot for travel.

PLUS. The workers in the store need to get paid, they grind, and heat the coffee.

PLUS . The building needs to be paid for (with electricty/water/etc.

The profit on those 4$ is probably less than the farmers are getting.

  • why is he shouting through his hat?!

pun intended, if you can figure it out

  • you hydrocephalic morons just don`t get it, do you?

  • I kinda feel bad for the people that worked there.

if that guy had a handle bar mustache he would look like the KFC guy

  • after watching this it made me want some starbucks im going right now.. mmmmmmmm

  • Starbucks is an a culture to bring you the best taste in coffee. If you want to complain about there $4 in coffee for complain to every brand out there. McDonalds Big Mac cost less than a dollar to make and it cost around $5. A cell phone cost about $25 dollars to make but since its nice looking they can charge you $400. A hard cover book cost about 6 dollars for 400 pages and the book is sold for nearly $30. This is America we want to grow in every way!!

  • looks like a cult...

  • @fanypacktastic are you aware of irony?

  • LMAO. I REALLY hope this a joke. For the record: I live in Austin, Texas, and I LOVE Starbucks, and so do a lot of other people in my town!

  • I believe in Starbucks, because it helps so many people around the world.

  • some people have too much time on their hands. . . what a nut. Let people do what they want with their earned money. This is america! If i want to buy coffee, then i darn well can, and no one can tell me i can't!

  • this man is a lunatic.

  • is this clip for real????

  • hey, all you barista.......you're coffee slingers, thats all. you're not providing a needed community service......don't like your pay scale......go to school or vo-tech and learn a skill. become a nurse, truck driver or become a welder, if you're not scared to get your hands dirty......HOW MUCH is the Rev Billy making off your contributions? Bet he don't ride the subway or live in a one bedroom flat.......

  • you all say that we pay farmers too little, but if the farmers made more annual income then everyone else in their country, they could potentially raise the prices for everything else making those that don't make as much as them poorer since they don't have the money to purchase the necessities of life. thats why starbucks can't pay farmers sufficiently more then the market price.

  • Starbucks ceo made $9.7 million last year. 12.8 million is 2007. They do not use Free Trade coffee - to say they do is an outright lie. Rev Billy says support your local coffee shops - keep the money local, support local families and local businesses. The three Starbucks in my neighborhood don't support any of the local schools' fundraisers or sports teams - they don't have to. Rev Billy's saying keep the money in the neighborhood. It's common sense.

  • do you shop at wal mart? mcdonald's? any of these places? i guarantee you don't strictly shop at local places. you are all crazy to take this man seriously. jesus would be ashamed of you. if you don't like starbucks, well, just don't go. it's your choice. there are billions who will continue to go. daily.

  • @teresapooh The trouble is Starbucks already ran out our local coffee shops.. Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, Uncommon Grounds = no room for the little shops.

  • @teresapooh Youre right, we dont use free trade coffee, we buy above the free trade price.....

  • Lol, these people are totally embarassing themselves. They don't understand that those 40 cents they give are actually going to feed families in undeveloped countries where there are scarce jobs and high starvation. I wouldn't buy from starbucks because it is a bit expensive, but if I could afford it, I would buy 2 things or more per visit. Then if more coffee bean suppliers gave jobs to undeveloped countries, people there would have a choice and so employers would have to increase their salary.

  • Also, I'm a christian too. But this guy is crazy! To everyone that follows him, start building your own opinions, read the newspapers, learn something about business, and also instead of protesting you could have used the time to actually help people, feed the homless, help the elderly, or a single mom. Seriously have you watched this yourselves??????

  • why shouldn't Jesus buy at Starbucks? You do realize that they are doing Fair Trade? 40 Cents is a lot in Africa. And you do know that Starbucks has to pay the rent of the store and the baristas? And anyway, what would happen if we all stopped shopping? A lot of people would loose their jobs! Well I guess Jesus would not buy a Cafe Latte but why not a tea or a muffin, Starbucks is kosher, and here in Germany Tea at Starbucks costs 1,90 Euro.

  • yeah that movie "Black Gold" was interesting... sadly i still go to starbucks everyday but i only cause get the two dollar coffee and unlimited free refills.

  • lol a little crazy!

  • 40 cents its actually pretty good, its 10%.

  • yeah. its definitely a lot less then that.

even for the "baristas" who make a hell of a lot more then the people in the third world preparing the beans.

  • where did this occur? New York? i want to see Reverend Billy soon

  • bednarczyk is right. infact, starbucks has an excellent insurance plan, and excellent benefits. the farmers get the same benefits we do. they get treated like any other employee in the company. we donate coffee, and food to the salvation army for the shelters, and homeless. there are tons of christians who work at starbucks, or go to starbucks, who would disagree with this. it's too ridiculous.

  • and there are tons of people who disagree with starbucks as they are ridiculous

  • There's also a "spiritual" aspect to this--Starbucks represents the kind of homogenization that's draining the life blood from America.

  • only 1.6% of starbucks coffee is fair trade. then look at the food miles and the amount of paper they use for cups, plastics for packaging, etc. also employees are restrained from making grievances they may have. to name just a few. i suggest you do a little more research rather than defending this corporation with foul language. are you an employee and been brainwashed by their sales pitch?

  • First of all, EVERY business uses paper for cups, plastics for packaging, etc. Starbucks is no different from mcdonalds or Dunkin Doughnuts. Where possible starbucks recycles their materials. And may i ask where you get your numbers from?? The person here that's been brainwashed is YOu by this cult!

  • what cult?

  • the figures are from corpwatch and may i suggest you take a look and watch the film 'black gold'

when you say about the packaging, etc you compare it to mcdonalds, etc and that is exactly the point. starbucks try and give out this down to earth grass roots company when in fact it is a corporation making massive profits from coffee growers in the third world, the workers and the customers.

  • the point of 'what would jesus buy' is to get consumers to just stop and really think about the bigger picture when they buy a product. to think how that product got there and who benefits when we spend our money there.

  • holy shopocalypse! I loves ya'll Rev Billy...

  • this makes no sense. first of all, what is the diffrence between starbucks, and your random grocery store, or convenient store? we all have the right to choose where we shop. look into things that starbucks is doing WORLD WIDE to make this world a better place. a 4 dollar cup of coffee helps for for aids vacccination in africa.(red). don't even get me started on all the things that starbucks does for the public. and HECK YES Jesus would pay $4 dollars for a latte. 4.03 for a grande yo

  • i work at starbucks too. dude, think if all the starbucks went away, how many people would lose their job. Where would they all go? Besides, I feel like this video makes "christians" out to be hateful and condemning people, which a true Christian lives in love and doesn't even have the power to condemn.

  • Barista here too. Not only jobs is the US but jobs all around the world. Starbucks provides some of the best benefits for farmers, partners, and managers. I wouldn't call these people christian, this is a cult.

  • if you fuck with my "Venti-iced cofee unsweetened with room",there will be repercussions.

  • this scares me. are they serious?

  • if it scares you, you're missing the point

  • And with the money I save by putting my favorite coffee business out of business by not buying their products, I can buy fuel for the "What Would Jesus Buy?" bus.

He's got an important point to make, but he seems to be a Spanish Inquisition type.

  • Power to the people!

  • this guy gives christians a really bad name.

  • he's not serious... the whole point is to expose the "religious" addiction of people consumerism

  • no, this is a actual group of people.

  • heidigerbick, Christians give Christians a really bad name. This concept is very in tune with what Jesus taught.

Part of loving others and treating them better than you treat yourself is recognizing the effect ALL your actions have on your neighbor. And your neighbor extends to each and every soul on earth.

When you buy items made by workers who are treated as slaves or given slaves wages to enrich corporations you are NOT following Jesus.

  • i understand what YOU are saying. but i think this guy still gives christians a bad name...there's much better methods to educate the public of your beliefs without making your cause look comical.

  • Go shove your sicko pms where the sun doesnt shine, you yeast infection. sicko fuck. Since you dont let people respond, i'll do it hear Jihad lover. The israelis shouldnt ever give back the Golan heights because they were attacked from all sides by the Muslims who hate peace and worship war you dumb cunt. Only anti-semites crack heads like you karlakunt think that jews should give strategi land back to countries that attack them FIRST. sick bitch

  • Oh when I go to Church this Christmas, I'll try and ask god to help me not hate sicko fucks like yourself who pm sick shit to people and then block them. For the record Daniel LIKED ATOSA you sick bitch. Get your facts straight hu-ah

  • sorry KarlaK. you cant post on my channel while blocking me from yours. My account has been here for months twisted whore. go play with your vibrator, it's saturday night

  • Starbucks has "fair trade" certified coffee available... customers have a responsibility to shop informatively... and as an employee, i tell them so... ultimately the decision is theirs... with every year they purchase of fair trade coffee increases, which as a corporation shows that they are trying to act responsibly... even as they face financial hardships.

  • These idiots look like they're in the Klan!!!!!

  • most religious people do give the impression they are brainwashed.

but not all are. He's using this platform to amplify the ridiculous and he's making several seriously valid points.

Just think if instead of only banding together to stop abortion and homosexual marriage, the religious community demanded fair trade practices for the world....do we really realize that each stone we cast in the water creating a ripple here morphs into a tsunami elsewhere?

    This is brilliant.

  • besides if it's not your and my fault then whose is it? it's us who want the coffee and us who dont care if it's fairtrade. why should the company care if the customers dont?

  • i'll drink starbucks forever. idc how much it costs and who gets the money. its not my fault they get 40cents. is it my fault that a cow dies when i get a burger from mc donalds? NO ITS NOT.

  • u blind? it's exactly same thing that was with the slave trade. rich ppl didnt give a shit who worked on their plantations as long as they had sugar- didnt care if they had a choice to work there, if they were abused in every way and victims to violenceso bravo. keep drinkin the fat-logo branded coffee made by ppl who dont get enough money to feed their families. and how dare u compare those people to cows...

  • Are they going to start protesting cancer and aids research next?

  • This video is 5 star all the way!! I myself boycott Starbucks (except for once every 3 months). There is nothing but Starbucks in my town, so I have to give in occasionally. It's so yummy!

  • Then you aren't boycotting Starbucks...

    and why would you anyway?

  • just learned about the symbols/logos at starbucks. thats a pagan god on the cups you see, with the 3 stars and the 2 snakes :P

  • noobs pure and simple

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOLLOL, holy fuck LOL

    XDXDXDXDXD

    Fcuk You jesus, fuck YOU!!!!

    hail SATAN!

    LOL

  • i don't think jesus has anything to do with this reverend...maybe satan is leading him...

  • But...think about it: "What WOULD Jesus buy?"

  • In this Century? Legend has it that he would have some amazing duds. Christ the King and all. Wait ... he wouldn't have to buy anything due to miraculous powers and such. No hunger, immortality and all. Us non-deities are stuck with survival and entertainment costs.

  • This is the most awesome thing I've ever seen!

  • You always hear people hating on Starbucks for the meager wages they pay their farmers (in spite of the fact they give their baristas living wages and full health benefits - a true rarity), yet do these people ever stop to think about the percentage of profit people who make their socks, their jackets, their couches, their ballpoint pens, etc. are getting paid? I rarely hear people bitching and moaning about that. I guess it's not as hip of a cause. Supporting independent coffee is chic now.

  • youre are stupit

  • idiot!

  • this made me rofl- sign me up!

  • Retards, all of them.

  • lol you people are idiots

  • Tele vangelism at its best!!

    Great Vid.

  • They should pay their employees a decent wage for all the hard work they do.

  • What the crap? Is he real?

  • this is more like a non-starbucks cult...

  • this is ridiculous!

  • That's hilarious.

  • Contains: Brewed Starbucks Coffee (Water,Coffee),Reduced Fat Milk,Sugar,Maltodextrin,Pectin,Gospel Choir!

    and Natural Flavor

  • this is the most hypocritical thing i've ever seen.

Starbucks? comon, go after wal mart, go after the big oil execs, go after george bush. What a waste of energy. This is obviously just to get attention.

You think Starbucks is the only company that makes 4 bucks while the farmer makes 40 cents?

Where did those red robes come from? where did the white suit come from? ...

  • He does go after those guys as well, but he can only hold one protest at a time..

  • Is Mr. Billy sure whatever he is consuming as a consumer is not with a tag of 'Made in China'?

His messages make sense if considering environment etc. but he is dragging too much of attention on himself than the techings. I think that's how US work- create hypes...

  • "I can feel the devil right here"! LMAO!!!!

  • @TexasRounder and Teltsa : You people don't know Austin. This was clearly filmed on 5th street at Neches. They're walking into the coffee place on the southeast corner in the Hilton. It's not even a Starbucks though I think somehow they serve Starbucks coffee. I'm guessing that's how they got away with filming there. The only two Starbucks in that part of downtown are on Congress.

  • Makes me want a Frapp real bad!! Free PR for Starbucks Brilliant!

  • Terriblement Stupide. Les gens ont vraiment que ça à faire.. Et puis, Starbucks quoi..

  • Okay, that is hysterical. Though I hate to see Christians being poked fun at, it was pretty silly, really. HA HA.

  • omg 3:45 seizure much?

  • this is so american

  • hundreds of millions a day? Exaggerate much?

  • :39 seconds ---

" we're trying to get americans to stop their shopping"

    lol as if !

  • I think I'm gonna go get tall white choclate mocha right now sounds really good to me.

  • Stupid.

  • wow maybe people are confused by satire in this consumer age

read a fucking book for once in your pathetic lives

its a gimmick to get out a message

  • cult much

  • lol! Is this dude for real? I work at a Starbucks, but this is just funny. I don't know what I'd do if he came to my store...laugh my ass off probably.

  • LOL whatever this is stupid. Why put crap like this up? I dont give a crap. XDDD

  • it's all the paper cups I hate most, 100's of millions a day go straight into land fill.

Our world just cannot take it much longer.

  • Religion is shit, it is destroying the world. im a barista at a starbucks and i would gladly loose my job to punch that christian con artist shit bag in the mouth.

  • Hey dude woah hey I am chrisitian and i think these guys nuts i have deep in faith christians that are baristas at starbucks i think that he is nuts and your talking to church nerd man

  • =) Well i hope they had fun protesting, it honestly does them no good but for themselves. We are starbucks, i mean heck we dont ever advertise. And as for 40 cents to the people who farm our beans that is just total crap.

  • Yeah, thats why Jesus died for us. So a bunch of retards would walk half way accross texis, singing and dancing and attacking starbucks. Some people need to get there priorities stright. The money farmers get in their country is good money compared to what they normally would get, its not slave labour its damn good pay. We provide schools and education for their kids on seperate initiatives. Yeah, these walked into my store and id give them the starbuck experience n legendry service 1st hand

  • Why would jesus buy a coffee in the first place, idiots

  • LOL exactly.

  • if he was tired. and his first choice would be starbucks.
