  • what did they study to become aware of the information?

  • Terence McKenna was a true radiant entity. Something like a prophet or a saint, an emissary of the Mushrooms and the Plants.

Pax tecum Terence, you were magnificent.

  • Gold dust never rusts.

  • before i heared TMK i really thought im crazy :DD

  • I'm in appreciation.

  • What a gift he was (and is) for us. Rest in your singularity for you were a novel occurrence in our lives. Thank you Terrence. Miss you. Love you. Please... wherever you are... get in touch.

  • Cool

  • FUCKING COURAGE

  • This is -the- Terence McKenna lecture. The wisdom he shared is like a final initiation for a Shaman into Godhood.

Thanks for tagging the title as Recommended. Everyone who's on a level with McKenna has to hear this.

  • @LordShivasServant Read you loud and clear, the light is with you!

  • @LordShivasServant I think those with spirits kindred to McKenna are now being increasingly distilled. The Fire soon cometh, our appointment with the Pleroma draws nigh. I do not know if it will happen this year of 2012, but something way big is barreling inexorably toward us and I do not think we have long to wait.

I am glad McKenna and Leary were around to lend a much needed helping hand.

Illumination is not for everybody. Evolution just doesn't work like that.

    All the best to you.

  • type, type, type, hands, eyes, brain, the energy, it just happens... look how it all is just happening.. waao

  • Ive always wondered, like in this case here, about the people who attended Mckenna's speech's and if the message's he spoke of changed their life's. Even in the longterm.. did they incorporate this new & inspiring knowledge? -Or did it wear off, back into the strenuous live's that most of us lead? Id like to talk to someone who was in attendance to this talk.

  • "And of course the first think to do is to tell society to fuck off because they don't know what's going on." -Terence Mckenna.

  • Imagine if minds like Mckenna's were present in our political and economic arena's! Imagine!!!

  • @MrDukenator Imagine if minds were present in our political and economic arena's, the mind of Mckenna would be a bonus. But just some free thinking human minds and souls would be a great start.

  • @mikeweckstein He said "sweeping up at the ashram". The word "Ashram" was once understood to be a place to take a break from society", a retreat to recharge your spiritual battery. Ashrams were located far away from cities, surrounded by nature. Now, the ashram has become a place for a particular guru to set up his or her operations. Offering devotees a path for enlightenment. In an ashram, daily choirs like sweeping, cooking and cleaning are sometimes incorporated into a spiritual practice.

  • This is amazing

  • @mikeweckstein cool! this is an awesome one..i listen to it all the time. happy new year! :)

  • Who's the guy that introduces him? Thanks btw.

  • @Djeezes Oh, Tim Leary. Nevermind :p

  • All of us terrence followers need to stick together! It's lonely out there!

  • Excellent

  • I had a dream this morning where I met Terence McKenna in a grocery store. :P It was awesome... Like a stereotypical science nerd meeting Einstein in a dream. It's too bad I didn't have a meaningful question to ask.

  • G'wan Tim an' Terry, big up the Irish.

  • man... it just ends at 15 minutes for me. lame!

  • he made this while I was almost out of my mothers womb...

  • @restlesspride666 I know just how you feel. For a while when I started listening to him I didn't even know he'd died. He was a huge influence on my current way of thinking, he blew my mind with his amazing thoughts. This was before I'd even tried psychedelics or pot for that matter, but had been listening to Shpongle for a long time and found him by searching up a monologue that was put in a Shpongle song to find out who it was... about how we are like caterpillars contemplating putation.

  • i wish I could find a way to thank you.

  • McKenna, Leary.. all the greats. This is where its at. Two ghosts that will simply not be put down by death.

  • @octopusfilms Alan Watts

  • @spidermonkeys22 Watts up? I will see your watts and up the ante with a Hunter Thompson!

  • @studejimbakker cool! thank you!

  • I love Terrence McKenna! What a shame he's passed away. RIP Terrence. The good guys always seem to go first.

  • Oh my god... in meditation a few weeks ago I was asking my spirit guides what their names are but I heard Terrence McKenna. I never heard of him before, so I thought I would check it out. Then a few days later I dreamt I was an alchemist and I had no idea what the heck that was. Now, here I am. Thank you.

  • Terence is my favorite philosepher

  • @rastaR00STER

he is my favourite bearded biped

  • TheDude! You're back! Goes to show that no one can keep this info from where it belongs - I learned that from listening to the hours of TM (amongst others) on your first channel. Thank you Dude!

  • @SilentSubversion you're very welcome and thanks for remembering me and for listening!

  • @theduderinok2 i remember i first heard coast to coast on the radio years back hoping desperately i could find the info online....THANKS DUDER

  • "Fucking courage".... I like that

  • 23:00

  • last comment! lol. i love terrence's voice. he's like a wise old elf. and i love how witty he is...and especially how poetic his use of language is. terrence has changed my views on so many things. but one thing people overlook is his expressive use of the english language. he had enough street cred to use words like shit-brained, but he could also turn a phrase that left you both amazed and reaching for a dictionary. he's added to my own writing in so many ways. reality is a language!

  • is that timothy leary?? introducing him? sure sounds like him. i never liked leary. he almost single-handedly ruined the public's image of psycedelics before we even got a chance to understand them. then again...i can understand his position and why he did what he did. it's just...i think he scared alot of people. he was off-putting, whereas Terrence is not. it's so sad Terrence wasn't well known in his lifetime. publicly well known that is. hopefully his words live on forever.

  • @avedic

Of course, chances are there would have been no psychedelic movement to popularize the drugs so that you had that desire to learn about them and try them without Mr. Leary. I think the greater portion of his work is misunderstood, mostly due to people not actually reading his thoughts and theories.

  • haha he's so happy..

  • Powerful. Deep. Pure. Beautiful! Thank you!

  • Very solid contribution, thanks so much for posting this.

  • mckenna would have wanted me to do shrooms!

  • July 1st 1991 ... Grateful Dead played the Coliseum during that blazing hot day & we zoomed north just in time to miss Timothy Leary introduce Terence, which we only learned about on the ride home from the tape I had bought (they were running them off super-fast on the spot after the Q&A) ... I remember my best friend and I turning to each other with our mouth's wide open and bursting into laughter as we heard: "And now a friend of all of ours, Mr. Timothy Leary"

  • @RadioRecordDiscord I agree! One could also just add a link to the raw file if they elaborate. There's something to be said for the "remixes"

  • Terence has honestly changed my way of thinking and mind set into a more optimistic perspective. He also is one of the only people I can listen to that makes complete sense every time.

  • first time listening to him. he's got IT.

  • Aw man it just got way better.. good talk (Ty Mr.T McKenna)

  • 12,756 views...0 dislikes :)

  • @RadioRecordDiscord thanks! i agree..i never add music to lectures or interviews or anything like that.

  • @theduderinok2 yes, thank you! there's way too many mckenna videos out there where his voice is simply obfuscated beyond recognition. a little low level music(without drums!) is sometimes nice and adds a subtle dimension to the words...but usually that's not the case. it seems youtube has created a whole generation of hack video editors lol. anyway, thanks for the excellent clip!

  • @theduderinok2 if thats the case never stop adding lectures

  • Man is God's brother. Not lower than, but equal to. - now after you watch this, you need to watch "History's first drug bust". Beautifully Articulated.

  • Terence Mckenna has ended my world

  • I wish he was still with us.

  • @vivaloriflamme

    He is!...listen!:)

  • @clintcarter You are right!

  • Snap. God damn. Lol.

  • LEGEND

  • thank you for this

  • @camdensmith555 you're welcome:) thanks for listening!
