  • I would laugh so hard if the Nostalgia Critic reviewed this!

  • This was the only cartoon that had an ongoing story. Good luck finding anything that tells a story these days!

  • @Frost770 Exactly!!!! The only cartoons with continuity these days are anime, it's good for me though since anime is a big interest of mine!!!

  • omg this made me teary-eyed. i used to watch this with my little brothers as a kid. what a sweet little theme song <3 <3 <3

  • Imagine if the Nostalgia Critic reviewed this show.

  • Did this show have an episode in which a bunch of fairies taught them how to say 'it's nice to meet you' in American Sign Language? This looks familiar... ~.~

  • @disastertruck Yes, and it was more than just that. It was because one of the wood sprtes(the fairies you spoke of) was a deaf mute. They also had an elf in a whellchair. God, I am such a nerd for remembering the show that well aren't I?

  • Great memories... thanks gran for everything

  • Tha toy was so creepy!

  • i watched this in my childhood and this show really sucks!! :)

  • The thing that was so good about this show is that it had continuity unlike most cartoons. Nowaydays you have to watch anime for continuity but that's not a bad thing for me because anime is a big hobby of mine.

  • @sjsharp2007 I thought it was never aired in the UK normal channels, only on satellite (as we have weird laws about TV shows based on toys)...

  • @Tomsonic41 I do remember it being either on BBC or ITV and it mustof been on one of them as back then we didn't have Sky or any other satellite channels like we do now

  • @Tomsonic41 Transformers was based on Toys, also He-man. Any cartoon made by Hasbro or Mattel

  • i love this show when i was sooo little

  • Terrible theme song, awesome characters.

  • My brother broke my Teddy Ruxpin toy by sticking his finger in his mouth!!! I was pissed for years.

A fright of mine still has his. He would purposely make metal and rap mix tapes for him. Pretty funny actually.

  • 80's ftw :)

  • Oh my god I'm getting so old!!!!! And I still remember all the theme songs from all these old cartoons!!!

  • Oh my god I'm getting so old!!!!! And I still remember all the theme songs from all these old cartoons!!!

  • I wish this and other old cartoon shows was still on tv, I have two nieces, I wish this old cartoon show and others was still on tv, so that they can experience this cartoon show and other old cartoon shows, like i have before them.

  • WOW looking back on this..... this whole thing was a wicked ass crack pipe dream! lets build a giant air ship.... and sail into the skyyyyy

  • this song is terrible! the guy can't even sing and it made my baby daughter cry

  • 18 people who gave this a thumbs down can eat a dick!

  • such a wussie cartoon. i hated this as a kid. i had a friend my mom forced me to play with and he always wanted to watch this gay shit. he was kinda like butters from south park.

  • who sing this song?

  • best if high is fuk. that is all.

  • I still have mine too!

  • i used to put my hip hop tapes in the back of teddy ruxpin so i could hear him rap. lmao!!!!

  • This cartoon was reserved for the Flamiest of the Flaming Mo's. Those kids that didn't quite turn out right as adults. Lol

  • I'll be honest.

I wasn't a huge fan of these kinds of shows.

But I sure as hell would choose these over some of my choices now.

  • HOLY SHIT I had that stuffed teddy bear named Teddy Ruxpin, damn that was when I was like an infant O_o

  • There were two talking bears in the 80's if I remember this right!

The other was called Bingo the Bear I think & I know Teddy Ruxpin just had a taperecorder in his back, but Bingo some how worked differently then that. I remember squeezung his nose in the toy store & he would ask if you'd ever been to the moon before? The kid who worked there always smiled & gave a chuckle.

I miss the 80's.The 80's was my childhood.

  • @TomRoykouffVideos Oh wow... yes! Bingo Bear! My sister had asked for a Teddy Ruxpin for Christmas one year and my parents hated Teddy Ruxpin, so I guess they got her a Bingo Bear instead. He was really cute and funny -- I can't believe someone else remembers him!

  • Gash Cartoon! Dogtanian was miles better.

  • Mummies Alive, dragon ball, freakazoid, the mask... and theres more but i will stop there brothraman.

  • I had all the action sets including the airship, it was awesome.

  • kick-ass

  • I liked the cartoon, but I preferred the animatronic/puppet one better. Or was that a movie? It's been so long...

  • I miss the 80'S so much :(

  • @zerathornn me too :(

  • @zerathornn We have to go BACK !!!

  • Yay. Loved this show as a little kid :)

  • Anyone remember when they had the Teddy Ruxpin story telling bear???? well it was basically a bear with a tape player but still!!!

  • awesome cartoon.

  • I liked this back when i was like 4 or 5

  • 0:29 - Gaah! What is that thing?!

  • @Kemonokami That was what they call a Grunge

  • I think this is one of the many reasons I'm gay.

  • I think there is more to it then what it seems. Cartoons use to have meaning to them, educational to raise bright young people for the future. Now everything you see on tv is reality show and stupidity , it's a bigger plan for the dumbing down of society. Start them off early with stupid shit and raise stupid people that are easier to control.

  • i used to have the talking teddy and the tapes. then I figured out you could put in any kind of tape and it would still work. teddy ruxpin singing motley crue was awesome!

  • @ClickCliquePics hahaha, did he still move his mouth and blink, or did he just play the tape? Either way, that's hilarious! :D

  • THIS SHOW WAS PURE DRUGS

  • I got a real kick out of JB callling Tweed Tweege and Tweed always saying 'It's Tweed! T-W-E-E-D!' with the response of 'What ever Tweege!'

  • @ShadowGuardian3337 Actually his name was Tweeg, with a G at the end.

  • i so remember this 20 odd years ago. Wow I feel old now :(

  • wow...i wish i was a kid again!

  • Why do todays cartoons suck so much ass?

  • I remember these...those were good times. All the cartoons now SUCK! I miss rainbowbrite stuff.

  • @YUSEIWHAT1337 yeah, rainbow Brie was the awesomest! My earliest memories were that of sitting in Daycare, watching Rainbow Brite VHS (am I really that old?) from a television box (gasp! I really am!) and loving every minute of it...now that I think of it, I miss being a pre-schooler, especially naptime and snacktime...

  • @animationeer Damn straight! xD

  • I used to have talking Teddy and Grubby along with tapes, books and watched that show a long time ago. *sighs* Those are good times....

  • the teddy ruxpin talking stuffed animal scared the shit out of me as a child

  • most beautiful cartoon intro i've ever seen ... :)

    i loooooooooooooooove it

  • I hated this cartoon more than anything, but thanks for the memories

  • i havent seen this since the 80s

  • @Superman1792 I miss my childhood.

  • *tears up* i had the teddy ruxpin bear for a few months but lost it when we moved here when i was 5, i musta watched this show, Ovide, & the ABC weekend cartoons like a zillion times... if anyone knows the ABC cartoon that had a young boy, man, & skinny bad guy in it (i think he gets pinched by crabs in the intro song) PLEASE TELL ME! That's all I can remember about it and it's been driving me nuts for years.

  • Man. I remember watching this as a kid. So many memories.

  • I also had a teddy ruxpin bear. He was like a tape player, you would put in little tapes that read teddy ruxpin books, and his mouth would move as the tape played. I dropped him or something and his nose came off :( they probably are worth something.

  • @cellobaby you too? i had teddy and grubby, and they both talked.

  • OMG!! I used to have a Teddy Ruxpin bear. Man I bet that thing would be worth some bucks now.

  • "fly so high" yeah... you're telling me.

  • I used to watch Teddy Ruxpin when it was on reruns when I was a kid, especially when it was on NTV in Newfoundland and Labrador.

  • I had a the bear when I was a kid, only had it 20 mins when it broke ;( I slid it down a slide in a playpark, my dad still jokes to this day and says I talked the bear to death lol

  • lol I had a Teddy Ruxpin bear to I think mine broke when I dropped it on the floor in Food Lion I was crushed. I bet those bears would be worth a little something now days.

  • Teddy Ruxpin, more Gangster than anyone currently alive?

    I think SO.

  • OMG!!! I had forgotten all about this show! I used to watch it with my brothers after school!

    so nostalgic!

  • Omg i havent seen this show in almost 20years. Honestly i didnt even know anyone knew about it. Seems like so long ago

  • Watched this every day. Cartoons these days suck.

  • @MehrabS You're just nostalgic

  • @MehrabS Agreed cartoons today suck. Especially those new "pixar" cartoons they been spewing out for the past 12 years

  • @Crystalballer274 Surely you mean the awful spinoff cartoons and not the full-length Pixar films? Those are masterpieces of visual storytelling!

  • @Sklurch I don't like those pixar films.

  • @MehrabS foresure todays music and shows suck..80s forever!!!!!!

  • @MehrabS i agree even though i was very young when this was on i still loved it

  • Comment removed

  • teddy ruxbin we love u lol

    omg i forgot this show

  • One of my favourite cartoon themes. Good singing voice.

  • must see the complete story .that´s all.

  • Anyone who doesn't like this show was either born in the later half of the 90's, or is Amish.

  • @Melirune or born in 2000 or 2001 and would be approximately 9 to 10 yrs old now, having nothing but Hanna Montana as kid's programming. I feel so sorry for them!

  • Ever since the early 90's, great Monday - Friday and Saturday morning cartoons have been on the decline.

Sure, there are some funny cartoons that I enjoy even as an adult (I admit, Sponge Bob always makes me laugh), but nothing like the good ol' days.

  • @Melirune ..what happened was the change in the century. The 1990's was the last decade of the 20th century. We've been in the 21st century for 9-10 yrs now. The classic cartoons from Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, to Hanna Barbera cartoons of the 70's, and 80's/90's cartoons, were a Golden Age of cartoons that we'll never see again in our awul new century.

  • There have been a few gems, but 90% of the rest of the cartoons have been complete garbage. :)

  • This is both sad and true.

I demand cartoons from the 60's - 80's be brought back as part of regular broadcasting!

  • @Melirune absolfuckinlutely!!!

  • @Melirune I was born in 1989, and my parents had taped only ep.13. Which I instant;y liked Teddy's lullaby played at the end.

  • @Melirune No. Not necessarily.

  • @Melirune I'm sorry, I was born in the late 70's and I'm not amish, and I think this show wasn't that good. Then again, I didn't watch it much, so I can't really tell...

  • @Melirune i was born in 1996 and i loved watching this whenever it was on
