  • where can i get that white pdp bass drum head?

  • @mikeyalvarado if you can't find them at a dealer, you can always order a coated white head of your preference and put the PDP Bass Drum Sticker on it. PDP Artists do that all the time ;)

  • I went to your site at Pacificdrums(dot)com but i didnt find the bass drum reso head with the PDP logo only with the DW logo is there another place to look for it?

  • @POLLOYTU my mistake. sorry about that. I guess we only sell DW heads on there right now. However, you can order the Coated White PDP resonant head from any authorized DW/PDP Dealer.

  • where can i order a 9X12 w/out mount or can i remove the mount?

Where can i order a white coated bass drum reso head?

  • @POLLOYTU if you are in the USA, you can order the tom and heads off our website bit(dot)ly/drumshop

The 9x12 will come with the STM mount, but you can easily remove it with a drum key (the top head needs to be removed and the mount will come right off). It rests on the lugs and is kept in place by the tension rods.

If you're outside the USA, any authorized DW Dealer can order you the head and tom. You can find the dealer nearest you by going to dwdrums(dot)com and click on "Dealer Locator"

  • What are the sizes for his drums?

  • @POLLOYTU

    6.5x14" Woody Snare

    18x24 Bass Drum

    8x10" Tom in basket

    12x14" and 14x16" Floor Toms

  • love my platinum kit.

taking it all over the place with my band and it just sounds incredible.

  • @AoWiiNTeNSiiTY that's great to hear! Have fun out there

  • Haha why didnt he use the platinum snare?

  • Is he using the pdp woody?

  • @1111ccccgggg yup. he's using the PDP Woody. The Platinum Snares are great, and I'm sure he has one to match his kit, but the Woody has a nice unique sound that fits Travis' style.

  • I wouldn't mind a PDP Platinum, but I'm not a fan of floor toms with legs. Would it be possible to rig the 14"x12" and 16"x14" floor toms onto the STM mounts?

    Thanks!

  • @ArcturustheFirst we do offer a STM for the 14" (you should be able to order through any authorized dw/pdp dealer), but the 16" is legs only.

  • Ive had my platinums for a few months now and i love them! Just curious, If i were to order a bass drum woofer from dw, could they put the platinum tube lugs on it? Thanks in advance!

  • @AirblasterShred66 this is great to hear! glad you love your PDPs. I'm pretty sure they would be able to put the platinum lugs on a Collector's Series DW Woofer for you. You could contact our customer service department to make sure. They can work with you and your dealer to get you what you need.

    customerservice@dwdrums.com

    or

    1-800-45-DRUMS

    thanks!

  • Thats a nice kit. I wouldn't mind upgrading my fs birch kit, to these. Nice finish too

  • @pacificdrummer40551 if you want to hear Travis McNabb at his creative best, check out old albums by the band Better Than Ezra.

  • Is this a Woody PDP snare or some DW snare? I see DW logo on drumhead...

  • @viktor7m good eye! that would be a Woody with a DW head on it ;)

  • @DrumWorkshopInc Thanks, it sound great, fat and deep, just as I like it :-) Of course, the kit sounds great also.

  • What a bloody awful drummer!

  • @mrkmhall and how successful are you? Where are your videos? Just Sayin!!

  • ahah that look like a yamaha snare!

  • This finish is still available correct?

If i buy it through the link on the PDP website how do i choose if i want no tom mount on my kick and how i want my tom to mount?

    thanks

  • @snowferlife yes, this finish (tobacco burst) is still available. Platinum bass drums only come without tom mounts. So you will need a tom stand. All rack toms come with an STM (suspension tom mount) on them. You can always take this off if you want to put a tom in a snare basket. happy shopping!

  • @DrumWorkshopInc Hi. When you order the PDP platinum kits, can you still order a satin oil finish? I am interested particularly in the Blue to Black Burst satin oil finish. Also, can you still order the black nickel hardware on the drums? thanks

  • @apparentlymusical Hi ;) Thanks for your interest in these PDP's. Unfortunately, Platinum Series has been scaled down to the 4 favorite lacquer finishes:

--Fire Engine Red Metallic to Black Fade

--Sapphire Blue Metallic to Black Fade

    --Titanium Metallic to Black Fade

    --Tobacco to Black Burst

so, unfortunately, there is no Blue to Black Burst, and no satin oil, but there is the Sapphire Blue Metallic to Black Fade ;)

  • @apparentlymusical last week I wrote to DW PDP Customer Service and they said, that althoug this finishes are discoutinued, They could make me another tom in satin oil finish. But It's only one piece, not the whole kit, but I think it's worth a try.

  • how do you get the white front bass head with a black logo?

  • @LoZfan95 you can order them from any authorized dw/pdp dealer. The part number is DRDHCW(size in inches)K

so if you wanted a 22 inch, the number would be DRDHCW22K

  • Is this the Tobacco to Black Burst finish???

  • @AirblasterShred66 yes indeed!

  • @DrumWorkshopInc well in that case im ordering some this weekend!!! :)

  • @AirblasterShred66 awesome! be sure to send us a link to a vid of you playing them. congrats!

  • chep i saw one in amagazine only $400.00

  • should i get a pdp platinum snare are like a pork pie/ DW/ ocdp snare?

  • @nliew DW

  • im thinking of buying this kit myself at my local guitar center. They have a 4 piece black oyster pdp platinum kit It has a 18" x 22" bass drum, a 8" x 10" tom, a 9" x 12" tom and a 14" x 16" floor tom. This is on clearance for $833 plus CA tax, BUT this kit was a floor sample for 2 weeks in the store. So do you think this is a good deal?

  • @nliew YES! a 4 piece will normally cost you around 1300 dollars and after you buy that (if you do) spend another 250 on a pdp platinum snare and your good to go.

  • why zildjian MIENL!!

  • @lifeisawesomeful Because, like Mienl, Zildjian is a professional, quality company that has been around for years. Why Zildjian? Simply personal opinion, my friend.

  • hes shit

    but the kit sounds good

  • those toms sound awesome

  • bte isnt the same without travis...but life goes on i suppose

  • @pacificdrummer40551

    i feel the same:o)

  • I LOVE YOU TRAVIS!!!! I miss you big cousin!!
