This is Epic...a snippet out of the greatest video game soundtrack ever, remade into an awesome orchestral piece...great work! Oh, and more SOR2 remakes please!!! :-)
Wow, this is something ive always wanted to do with the Streets of Rage soundtracks but only touched upon the orchestral elements from the piano versions I did. This is very good though, BTTI sounds great this way:)
This sounds more like a Zelda song than Streets of Rage 2 to me. It's good, but SOR songs are more about jazz and beat.I get that this is supposed to be an orchestral version, but the flow of SOR music makes me want to beat the tar out of bad guys, and I'm not getting that vibe here. It's like the feel of the game was lost, and especially since this song takes place in one of the most intense levels.
I understand what you mean and I have the same impression, but the remake was built around the quality of the melody. I know it doesn't sound like an in-game version but I see it as an orchestrated ending theme or part of a fictive SOR score lol.
@Ov3rshot Thanks! I will do more and the elevator music is a good choice. I'd like to do the boss theme first; I've begun the remake few months ago but it was abandonned.
This is amazing. I'd love to hear more Streets of Rage

This is so incredible what do you use to get these lush orchestral sounds, is it pro tools based? Which sound libraries I'm just dying to know?

Awesome work. Really like the new bits you've composed and the instrumentation sounds great. Nicely done as usual :)

Amazing. PLEASE do more SOR 2 adaptions.
You HAVE to somehow do the "elevator music" (expander)
I know it's not exactly your style, but still, that song is awesome.
