Seems like they've used that TV 6 logo for quite a long time on WITI.

It was used from 1979-1994 (when they went to FOX)

I posted a video reply showing this logo and theme still being used in August 1995. I was only visiting when I recorded it, so I don't know when they changed their imaging, but it was definitely no earlier than 1995.
