@amyblossom1 Folks. Let's not get too excited here and go to name calling. The brushes I use can be cheap or expensive. It is not how much your paints or brushes costs or thebrand of products you use. i.e. the 1" bristle landscape brush I use sells in art stores for $16.00 to $20.00 each. OR you can go to a discount hardware store and purchase them for anywhere from $0.47 to $4.95. Same with the 2" brush. It's your skills though in using the brush that really matters most,
@amyblossom1 I'm just trying to teach how to use the brush. BUT you do get what you pay for. Inexpensive brushes wear out in about 40 paintings. You can get 80 to 175 paintings with more expensive brushes. But these numbers depend upon your use and care of the brushes, the quality of canvas and your skills and the types of cleaners you use in cleaning brushes.
BUT THE TECHNIQUES REMAI THE SAME.
If you prefer less expensive brushes, buy them and then practice, practice, etc...
hahaha,,funny when they argue about brush when what matter the most is how to use it..anyway,,great tutorial.thanks Darrell

Can you do a tutorial on cheaper paints for people like me who can't afford expensive paint and brushes? It would mean so much.
