@clkdragzta in fact you're right.the green edition palit gts 250 has a clock speed of 738 mhz,the regular gts has 745,so you wont need to overclock it much.

the g.card's performance is Awesome. The fan is power to 35% in idle, and rises as it is required. It's very lowd and annoying, even at 35%. it goes with a "zumming" noise , and whenever i use the mouse scroll the zumming goes allong with it.. zum > zum...:)) after 3 years it's an awesome card. (considering that the warranty is gone and u can change your GPU heatsink and Fan.) :D

since i couldent find any o.c advice for this card when i first got it a few months ago a thought i will share mine with the world so everyone can get the most out of there card!best i have got upto now is avg fps of 59.61 on just cause 2, o,c at 800/1130/1840.with 100% fan speed (at all times!) temps .get around 60-70c with good case.this is a ok card when u push it i am on quad core 2.5ghz but atm i have a basic motherbaord an basic 3gb ram thanks to the card this game still runs well.

this card is the best i mean with 95 frames per second i just got one today tested cod waw iv never seen a pc game move that fast before not a single bit of gameplay lag

@einarknutsen im not sure about GTA 4 but crysis warhead or crysis? At most it will be round 29 to 30 fps . on gta 4 i suspect it will be round 50 to 60 fps since that post im now running a GTX 460 :)

@einarknutsen yes it can it depends on your processor and Ram i have 4gb ddr3 +phenom II 550 blac edition and i can run crysis with "high setting" and i average 28-32 fps.. and for gta 4 using "optimal system setting" i average from 27-34 fps not bad for this card.. oh anf btw i use windows 7 32 bit

I evn overclocked it to noraml non green clocks and everything is fine.

Hm... this lines appear when you overclock too much. Tell me the clocks you overclocked it to.

I'm using V-tune that came on the cd in the box. It installs automaticly when you install drivers fro the card.

so far i overclocked this one to only 738/1100/1836 and the temp gets to 70C, but thats when i play in highest or ultra high settings....... 27-33 fps on dirt 2 ultra settings with highest anti aliasing still pretty playable to me...

70C on full load and highest settings is extremly good temperature for a graphics card . Some ati cards go over 90C !!!

why is your temp so high :S dont u turn up your gfx card fan speed i run on 750/1100/1836 at no more than 60c on dirt 2 maxed out with about 45% gfx card fan speed, crysis probably higer but i then put fan speed to about 70 or even 100% keeping it under 70c

I Have a crosair 400w and I even overclocked it to the normal version clocks. From 700/1000/1560 to 750/1100/1836

Not a single problem for about a year now. The difference after overclocking is about 2-3 fps.

if you have many optical drives, fans with leds, etc.. its better to be sure so i prefer to stick with a true rated 550w power supply

it only needs one pcie connector, the non green edition cards needs 2, u can run it with 500w of power supply, but in case u will overclock the card at least 550w to be sure
