Ok, people. I know this isn't the perfect music for Idina, but come on. Have you heard her 'Heaven Help My Heart?' Mind blowing. That is the only word I can use to describe this.

out of the whole production of Chess in Concert this has to be my favorite song, the raw power and emotion of the lyrics and melody are written all over Josh's and Idina's face, it's almost like this song was written specifically in mind for those two to sing to each other. While the song is heartbreaking, it's still wonderfully powerful as well. The blending of those two voices is a match made in heaven...Fabulously well done version by Josh and Idina.

i just love Idina Menzel.. I know there are those who say she wasn't right for this role and yes while the key may not have always been her strongest she is phenominal.. I think seeing it makes her and chess in general 10 times better than just the audio. Love it all, thanks for posting.. On my christmas list!

Goosebumps all over!! Thank you so much for posting these, I could watch them all day! Idina Menzel and Josh Groban sound so beautiful together and Kerry Ellis and Adam Pascal are also brilliant, how incredible to have such emotional maturity and vocal talent on one stage! How I would have loved to have been there!!

i have loved this musical since it came out in the 70's and i was so very happy to see it done in concert by these amazing singers. i own the dvd and watch it all the time. simply marvelous that someone could write a musical around the game of chess and make such beautiful music. it touches me so deeply each time i watch it.

Unbelievable! I don't know how many times I've watched this amazing production, and I'm still in tears. A simply perfect cast.

By the way, has anyone been able to find out at which part of this Idina got lost back stage? I went to her concert at Royal Albert Hall this year, and she said that there's a time when she couldn't find stage right, so Josh Groban is standing all alone on stage singing with Idina helplessly trying to find her way out.
