ok, i get my extractor and then i get my lings and get the speed upgrade, but when i try to harrass my oponent he has blocked his entrance with cannons and by the point i get lurkers he gets templars and storms the shit out of me T_T what im supposed to do in that situation T_T

how about using a strategy your opponent doesnt know?

And isn't the basics when you can't attack expand so you can get get minerals and gas faster and power tech faster than him? and of course build up defence. then you could also scout him regularly to give you a better chanse to annhilate his expansions beffore they become a threat.

In short get more minerals and gas than your opponent and have more info than he about whats going on, so you can build a stronger army.

ok, i get the point BUT, dont forget that in zvp (fo example in destination) the toss player will always early scout you, so hw knows whether ur going for 12hatch, 9pool, overpool etc. Ou can always try to kill the scouting probe, but in probe vs drone, dont forget that probe has the advantage o eighter you hav an insanely drone micro (i.e. jd). if u go for 9pool he'll block the entrance and if you go for 12 hatch he'll expand and then block.i guess the response to that is to double expand

and go 3hatch mutas or 5hatch hidras.

Is there a max time for mutalisk to live? (if you don't use them and keep them at your base.)

If yes, how long and what happen? They just disappear?
