@creepygirl94 I suppose it depends on what state you reside in. In Florida There is no age requirement but most breeders will not sell until babies are at least 5-6 weeks... or 3 feedings a day. AND only to an experienced person with hand rearing.

@vaporeon333xxx Well, it depends on what type you want... either way your looking at anywhere between $600-12,000. Maybe even more pending on the type of macaw you are looking for.

@vaporeon333xxx this type (scarlet) is about $1,500-$2,000. a greenwing macaw (they are larger and tend to be more intelligent) are about $ 2,500-$3,000 a blue and gold (a little smaller then greenwing and scarlet) are more common and about $1,000-$1,500. and of course the hyacinth (largest macaw) and blue all over, they are endangered so they are about $12,000. also remember this is just the price of the bird, dont forget cage, toys, food ...etc. and of course time. hope this helps!!
