The Max memory is 2 gigs with a sigle 2gig dimm.

The onboard 512meg is used for graphic making it no longer shared memory which gives you the performance increase.

it's kinda sad that u cant "force share"i would love to have it at 1gb.

and on newegg it said 1.5gb max so idk... and then this guy found out that there are actually 2 ram slots not one... since the 1gb ram s10 he bought when he opens it up it has 1 512 dimm and it showed 1gb via dxdiag. so i think ibm purposely hide one of the 512 so that u can only upgrade with one 1gb stick total up would be wat newegg says.. 1.5gb max.

One of the dimms is soldered to the board so you can only add one stick of ram which I install a 2 gig stick of 667 and it shows up as 1.99 gigs the 512 that is solder to the board will be used for the graphics even though it does not show up under windows. Its a big improvement(I'm using Vista) I'll have to post a video after I receive my SSD drive which should give me even better perfomance. Started at $399

$30 - Internal Blue-tooth

$50 - Blue-tooth mouse

$20 - 2gig 667 RAM

$300 - SSD Drive

hi i got sum cash for christmas and i have relli been looking at getting a netbook for a while now cuz im still in high school....it's either this or the hp mini...minis a bit over priced...n i was looking at ther acer aspire until i saw it at the store and it was toooo tiny....plz can you do a gaming vid with ur s10 and it's "2.5" gb ram u say it has..thx ..cuz tht's what i wanna do if i get one

the best setup from lenovo goes with max 1.5GB, but you can upgrade RAM yourself up to 4GB...

Yes, i think, it would run much better with at least 2GB 800MHz of ram. So it needs to be upgraded and tweaked a little bit.. You can check my eee PC video, there it runs NFS ant 40FPS with 2GB 800MHz of ram ant Celeron M 900MHz processor. :)
