I grew up in a predominately white are as well in Georgia (I'm black). I think for many of the white people, they didn't think about race really because there wasn't enough diversity. Obviously for me, I didn't feel the same lol

I live in Winnipeg Manitoba and i have lots of Family in Calgary and when i go there i don't see any black people. Also i went to pick up my little cousin at school with my aunt when i was in Calgary and not one person in his class was Black or Asian and i was like wtf because in Winnipeg there is so many African American and Asian people
