  • Educate yourself? How do you know I didn't research the sanctuary I visited beforehand? Do you know about elephants in Thailand and their history? And how endangered they are now?

  • I question if the poster is aware of the horrendous training regime and the rigorous days these elephants have endured at the cost of this "ride". Ever wonder why the elephant is so submissive with the mahout who carries a stick with a bullhook at the end?? Hmmm....Anyone looking for an elephant experience while visiting Thailand that does not exploit the species, I would recommend the Elephant Nature Park - not this. Educate yourself - check it out.
