I use Pitbull to replace my unit frames. In this video (which is fairly old) I use Healbot for my unit frames and Pitbull for everything else.

These days, I just use Pitbull 4.0 beta-4 (get it from curse). It's fairly complicated to setup, but allows massive flexibility in *everything*.

If Pitbull isn't your cup of tea, then a significantly easier (albeit less flexible) solution is to use X-Perl.
