  • Uhoh, low ceiling, too many bad experiences of these!! Jumpy ropes at all? Sound quite nice at any rate!!

  • @simonbellringer I'd noticed your obsession with low ceilings. They are mostly OK if you pull straight downwards and if you ensure the sally goes straight through the ceiling boss instead of flapping around hitting the ceiling. These for instance are no problem.

  • @irkibby Not obsessed - the 4 at Hagbourne is a horrible bell to ring, and everyuone, experienced ringers included, struggled on the back 4 at Longbridge Deverill!! Yes, there are some nice rings with low ceilings - Og. St George and Rodbourne Cheney - but you generally tend to remember the bad rings rather than the good rings in these situations...

And a couple of years ago, it was LONG draughts which I was "obsessed with" after Cricklade and Aldbourne didnt like me!!

  • I suspect my fingers would be a little sore at backstroke. Particularly on the one right by the window.

  • Mr omgwtfbbqalex would struggle here

  • Since the celling is so low, it look like the Ringers of 5, 6 and 7 (ringers in the backround) are standing on big Boxes!
